I used to smoke 5 - 6 times per day, but lately I've only been smoking once per day. This is a radical change from 4 years ago when I frowned on "stoners" and made fun of them, and now I'm not even sure what a stoner is, or if I myself am one.
Any ideas?
id say if you toke very often, even once a day is a lot, not that i don't smoke that much, just that over once a day you're a stoner...and theres nothing wrong with that
if your freetime outweighs the ammount of money in your pocket then you are probably a stoner.
Well, I'm sure that there are many different definitions that people may go with, but for the most part, I think it's more like a state of mind than an actual numerical amount. I'm sure that there are times where you would call someone who seemed to smoke a lot a stoner. But then there are times where you want to call a first timer a stoner. All subjective. Everyone that I usually smoke with I would call stoners, and many aren't so often.
As for myself? Let me put it this way; my vape sits on my desk ready to go whenever I need it. Like right now.
Once a week you'd be a casual stoner, three to six times a week you'd be a moderate stoner, and three times a day, every day, you'd be a professional stoner.
I used to be a pro - AND a connisuier (SIC) of fine weed. In Noah's Ark days.... :)
Once it becomes part of your lifestyle, it's hard to shake I guess. That's how it is for me at least.

In my opinion, it's more about your attitude of smoking than the amount you smoke

I think your a stoner in my definition if you incorporate weed into your life. Like You do it everyday, a few times a day. Like I watch the news and smoke, then I log onto my school to log in and I smoke, then I eat something, then I watch some t.v. (some history channel or some TLC) and maybe smoke again (it depends how much I have), then I go about my day and then sleep until 7pm, then I eat again and then when John leaves for work at 11pm I turn on adult swim and smoke again, then I come onto this lovely site and screw around OR I play Halo online with some of you guys until John comes home from work, then I smoke again if he wants to play so I can watch him OR if he's tired I don't smoke and I repeat the process over again.
But the days John's off I smoke repeatedly throughout the night, all night. No matter what.
Having no weed really throws my whole day off.
If you get stoned once a day, I would say that makes you a stoner. What makes a stoner in my opinion is if you like getting high and do it regulary.

I think of stoner as being more of anegative thing really. I think you are a stoner if you let the herb control you. I mean i smoke at least twice a day but I still get shit done. Like if you can still work or go to school or whatever you do and be mildly successful, you are not really a stoner are you? I mean I dontknow. I guess anyone who owns a piece or buys weed regularly is a stoner as opposed to the person who only smokes when weed is around. I just totally contradicted myself too. I guess im a stoner haha
when you can comprehend anything bush says. so, in reality, "stoners" are VERY uncommon, though the term is often used loosely to describe one who smokes weed.

Yeah I see it as a negative thing too, like the people that are broke but are still smoking everyday, they are stoners. As long as you're still making the best of your life who cares if you're a stoner/pothead..
Practically every day, multiple times, for a year.
You are not so much a "stoner", as a cannabis enthusiast.

I usually consider someone a stoner when they always plan when they smoke. Like, it's all they do. They get together with some people just to smoke, and then just chill, or keep on smoking until they pass out. I consider myself a pothead, I'm never without weed, and I'll spark up anywhere.
