when i was four, i was jumping on my bed and i landed on my head, through a glass table onto the floor, cracked my head right open, and broke fingers, which left me unconsious all at once. Luckily, it was infront of my mom and grandma so they called 911

attempted suicide (purposely)
car wreck at over 120 with no seat belt on and it flipped... car was totaled.
just to name a few.
Man, I have been very close to death, many times.
Rock climbing incidents, scuba diving incidents, car crashes, falling off buildings, playing with weapons and firearms, getting in vicious situations, etc, etc... etc.
I cherish my life a lot, but I'm the first one to say that death can happen at any time. I've seen it happen to very close relatives, and it changed the way I perceive it a lot. I also think my Guardian Angel is awesome and that he must be tired as fuck of saving my ass all the time! ;)
i don't do enough crazy shit to say that i've almost died.
however i let my friend pass me out once, stupid teenager shit, and i felt like i died and came back to life. like i felt like thats what happens when you die. you zone out, everything is black and there is nothing anymore.
thats another reason i wont try heavier drugs, even shrooms. i like the shit i see in my life to be concrete and real, not all psychodelic, trippy and fake and shit.
Shot in the shin and the wrist, right next to the boney bit that sticks out. Wrong place at the wrong time.
As good as cut my thumb off, bled uncontrolably and refused to go to hospital, untill i started feeling light headed and realised it wasnt going to stop on it's own.
Broke my back [not close to death at all, but you CAN die from it, so it counts]
I actually try to keep out of trouble these days - i used to be a fighter, and got myself in alot of trouble - now i prefer not to get too involved. If i can avoid a fight, i will. I make sure i dont start them - because then whatever i do is completely fair.
I've been robbed at gunpoint for over $1500 in weed and cash.... BARELY got out of that one

I've FELT I was close to death, when in reality I wasn't at all. One time I was 18 and snowboarding and went out of bounds into a thick forest and ended up on a big clear expanse of untouched snow. I realized I was on a frozen lake and unbuckled myself and laboriously walked to the edge, when one foot quickly sunk through snow. I thought I was going into the lake, but it was just an air pocket under the snow caused by a rock that had a hollow area under it. I remember myself telling god that if he saved my life, I would consecrate the rest of my life to His service, whatever that may be. scary shit
then another time I was eating a supreme pizza from pizza hut and a piece of green pepper got stuck in my voice box. I could breathe, but every time I tried to talk it felt like I was suffocating. The gag reflex was triggered and I threw up, exacerbating the choking feeling. I had my friend call 911 and they came and were skeptical I was choking cuz I could breathe. I had the proverbial and phantasmagorical flashing of my life before my eyes on the way to the hospital, which was compounded by the fact that I ate *ahem*shrooms*ahem*. They finally called me the next day to say there was something in my voice box. Thanks doctor:rolleyes: I still enjoy the supreme from Pizza Hut:smokin:

When I was younger I used to collect swords and axes and stuff. Me and a friend snuck some of my kamas out of my room and stuffed them under our jackets. We took them out into the woods and cut stuff and just dicked around pretty much. Anyways, on the way home I had them both under my jacket and one of them moved so that the pointy point was against me and poking me. I went to fix it but lost my balance on my bike and crashed hardcore. I flew through the air for at least 5 seconds before hitting the ground. I remember how time slowed down and I was thinking about how playing with these things in the woods was a pretty stupid thing to get killed over. After I hit the ground, I felt all over myself thinking that surely I was impaled and dying. Luckily the kama moved and only cut a swathe through my jacket. It's weird though thinking about how slow time went. I was really sure I was dead.
i had the time thing happen to me in the car wreck.... it's also the only time i've been looking straight ahead (as in i was in the back seat and i was looking forward, through the windsheiled) but i was looking at ground... if it hadn't been for the slow time and quick thinking i surely would have been really hurt... but i put one foot on each side of the floorboard (as in one foot behind the drivers seat, one behind the passanger seat) put my right hand on the ceiling and pushed, and leaned over and grabbed the seat on it's side (there as no back door or i'd of grabbed the handle you grab to close the door with) and used all my strength to hold on...Quote:

Misdiagnosed apendicitis. Docs told me I had a stomach virus, so stay home and relax and it will go away. So i bascially started to turn yellow and passed out and got rushed to the hospital. Where they realized that my appendix had ruptured(if you didnt know, it basically poisions you after it ruptures) a long time ago. 5 hour surgery, peices of small and large intestine removed, and 2 huge scars on my stomach. Oh and they couldnt use stiches, had to leave the wound open, so, staples...15 of them.
Thats the closest my contract has gotten to being canceled.

i broke C2 in seven different places. you don't get much closer than that.
I got food poisoning on holiday from undercooked pork. I had severe stomach cramps, nausea, the shits, chills and halucinations for about 3 days and hardly slept because of the it. For some unknown reason my parents wouldnt pay for a doctor, which now im older I resent them for that.
Undercooked pork can be more or as deadly than chicken. Because of the conditions pigs live in the meat contains trichina worms which can cause Trichinella spiralis if not killed during cooking.
One time when i was three years old i was at a golf course with my dad and I really really wanted to drive the golf cart. So when he was putting I got in the drivers side of the cart and floored it and pretty soon i was going top speed on a golf cart towards a humungous cliff. Luckily my dad could run pretty fast and he grabbed me and stopped the cart before it went over the cliff.
There were a few more im sure but nothing that i can really remember too well.
Very close. Appendicitis in my case, too, Santa Clawz. It was diagnosed correctly, but it had ruptured badly by the time they opened me up, and peritonitis set in afterwards even with appropriate surgery and antibiotic treatment. I had to have a subsequent huge surgical cleanout of my abdomen. With the peritonitis, I was put into a medically induced coma for five days, was in the ICU for nearly three weeks, had fever of 105, was septic, and had begun to show early signs of kidney and liver failure.
It was a miracle I survived. I had to. I had a husband and three-year-old child who needed me. Had I not been only 27 and fairly strong to begin with, I probably wouldn't have.

happend to me but i was eight and my dad wasnt in the cart. i floored it and hit a tree and i almost broke my neck from flying out of the seat.

My buddy flipped his car 7 or 8 times. I wasn't wearing my seatbelt so my face smashed into the dash and i broke my back
I also cashed my bike at 70 MPH the other day. Got pretty badly hurt but not really close to dying, but I could have easily been killed.
Well, I had cancer. And it was stage 3, so I think thats a good one.
I have been dead a few times. Heroin over doses and a car crash that they said I was dead until they pulled my body from the car and I woke up and said; "I will get out of this wreck myself copper" But I could not move because my skull was fractured, my pelvis was broken in two places from the seat belt, my rib cage was caved in from the steering wheel and I had a massive concussion. I remember none of it until I woke up in agony in the hospitol.
I got in a fight with a bouncer and broke his leg. He pulled a gun out and my friend stood on his hand, preventing him from using it. I was also mugged once and the guy stabbed me above my kidney.
Well closest i've been is smoking way 2 much, and having a panic attack/bad trip to the point i "thought" i was gonna die hehe.
Apart from that moment, i tried teaching my sister how to swim when i was only 9 took her in the middle and just sunk trying to hold her. Lucky parents saw and pulled my out after i screamed for air.
I was younger then that, and I recovered very quickly. They took me out of ICU quickly, mainly because I was feeling no pain. Which is probally because the pain I had before was so intense and crippling. I remember I had to literally throw myself off my couch and crawl to the bathroom. I was in the hospital for around a month and a half. Now I have horribly bad acid reflux, oh well, least im still here.Quote:

Closest was probably when a piece of sheet steel almost severed my right hand, I was squirting blood allover the place, (it looked sort of pretty) lost so much it was touch and go for a while.
My gf gives me grief if I ride "crazy" but she isn't always on the back so who knows where the next near miss with a truck or bus will happen but I can't help myself. I have a very heavy right wrist :D:D (thats the side with the throttle) :thumbsup:
I know that most of my mates think I have a deathwish but that isn't the case , I just love feeling ALIVE !!! :cool:

I almost died of cancer.
I spun out at 85MPH on a middle of a busy interstate. How I left unscathed I have no idea.
I was running across the street, and some car was a split second close to hitting me.
Well, that's my close encounters with death.
Me and my other cousin were playing monopoly.
I was three, and he was four. And I DOMINATE at monopoly.
Needless to say, I won. But I wouldn't be the winner for long, he decided. So he grabbed a phone (keep in mind this was 15 years ago, so not a cordless one, a BIG ASS METAL FUCKING PHONE) and proceeded to try and smash my head with it. My dad speared him and beat his ass (not really, I mean, he was only four, but when your about to smash your sons head with a big ass phone, it's what you do). Anyway, nothing more exciting that.
I guess the moral of the story would be DONT FUCK WITH ME AT MONOPOLY, OR YOU WILL GET YOUR ASS BEAT.

Ive had 2 close calls... one was an anaphylactic reaction to some almonds, my throat was closing up and the epinephrine wasnt working too great, i lost consciousness for a minute but i woke up and they had managed to make an airway.
Another time was in a friends car, when a stray bullet from some dispute outside a store busted a big hole in the back window, this kid got grazed by it, i guess if i had called shotgun on it im taller than the kid so i woulda been dead, maybe not but its crazy to think about.
weirdest thing was i didnt even hear the shot all i heard was a pop from the glass breaking...

The long term price of this is a list of broken bones that pretty much runs from my head to my toes (Fractured skull , broke my big toe playing football lol)
I guess even though I still have the urge to do crazy shit and I find it difficult to fight that urge , but these days are different because I realised how much I was upsetting the ones who love or loved me. My mother must have had thousands of nightmares about me ending up dead, girlfriends were often told to like it or lump it if they dared suggest I was selfish and crazy (I was :icon506: ).
I always said if it's going to happen it's just my life on the line, not so sure wether I believe that anymore.
