okay, so most of you know by now that i've only been smoking about a month now, but i still can't get high (or at least noticeably so). i smoke 1-3 times weekly and all my friends get stoned off the weed, but the only difference i noticed was one night i got hyper as hell, and ran in circles for 10 min. rather embrassing :o .
anyway, anyone have suggestions or cures for my lack of highness? or have i been high w/o knowing it... is that even possible? :confused:
damn, i don`t understand running in circles. my cat told me to stop that behaviour when i ran in circles. hope you do the same. peace.
I had to smoke a couple grams before I felt even slightly high when i first started. Just keep it up, try smoking a couple times a day.

Ya, my friend (let's call him nick) had that same problem. Me and all my friends have been stoners for years, agreed to get nick high one time. well, he didn't get high that time. or the 2nd time we tried. or 3rd. Time after time, we couldn't get him high. Then, one day after my friend chris got off work, i took nick up there with him to get some bud. After me n chris bought an 8th each, we realized that these nugs were some of the best lookin nugs we'd gotten in awhile. So we proceeded to smoke nick out, and holy shit, we smoked like 10 bowls of this shit, i was so blazed i couldnt concentrate enough to read the caller id on my fuckin cell phone. Nick was so blazed, he was makin dumbass remarks such as "guys, are my legs supposed to feel numb?" and silly shit like that. of course, my legs to feel tingly when i get really high but thats another story...
anyways the point is keep trying, you'll get there.
one of my mates is the same! its annoying tho, hes always complainin like its everyone elses fault wen there wasted and hes not, kinda spoils it, hes only got noticably high once and that was on some ol' black hash in a bong, he jst kept smokin wen we wer all done. jsut keep in there, n hold it in...

Man that sucks, that happends to my bf whenever he gets high. He stped just cuz no matter how much he smoked he dident feel really high just buzzed. I hope you figure out the problem man. Good Luck! :)

Just as neurofen doesn't do a great deal for me - I prefer paracetamol for pain relief.

Yeah i used to smoke a few bowls and feel nothing, now two hits gets me so stoned. It's like im getting less tolerant to it over time! I cant complain though, I use less weed.
you just arent inhaling man......you wouldnt just not get high......especially if you had never been high before......it takes practice, you should get there someday, all you need is weed and patience...........and something to smoke out of

i think so. no-one's corrected me so far. i just inhale like i'm takin' a deep breath, hold for a long time then exhale...

Sounds good to me, try swallowing when you can't keep it in any longer, for me that makes me so much more stoned cause i can keep it in for a longer time. Also if you feel like coughing just start coughing until its through don't be embarassed cause when i was starting thats the only time I'd notice that I was high was right after i just coughed for a good 3 min
i had to quit smokin for a week recently because a) i was out and b) i wouldnt get high anymore. but if uve never gotten high before then it cant be high tolerance, try holding the hits a lil longer than u usually hold em in or just get some better bud
sometimes the idea of "being" high is hard to grasp.. you have to kinda look for it, but when you're high you'll know. It's hard to explain.. you don't suddenly "get" high, you just gradually feel it.. you eventually realize you're high, and then you're like "fuck, I'm baked".

Im with the inhaling thing,i have a friend that tried to swallow it(i dont know what she was thinking)and it just got her sick.So maybe truly there just not inhaling.Or I also have a friend that no matter how much she smokes she says "no,i dont feel it....lets do some more" which in the end hey thats great for me too,but i wish she could just relize shes stoned.So maybe its something like that,hope you get it figured out:)
Get your friends to chip in on a *really* fat sack and smoke until you can't smoke any more. You might also try building a gravity bong. They really fuck me up.
