Ok so i'm bout to buy an eighter of some brick weed, and i need to grind it up but some dickhead stole my grinder last weekend. does anybody know of anything i could use? my coffee grinder is broken so i can't use that. the only think i can think of is this little blender thing but i don't wanna use it cuz it smells terrible and it will fuck up my bud. help! :chainsaw:

i need it to be finer cuz i wanna get fuckin blazed off the smallest amount of weed possible. scissors only work up to a point where u can't get the nugs any smaller
then use ur hands to break it up smaller, it really doesnt matter all that much how fine the weed is, just use a smaller amount
ya thats a good point. oh well if i get desperate i figured out something that will work: a cheese grater lol.

if i use like a knife to press the bud into the grater then i'll be alright lol. i don't feel like losing my fingers tonight lol

You have asked the right person I have been in this position a few times before and what you need to do is just push the weed against the part of the cheese grator with the smallest holes, trust me it will work fine!
If your weed is dry, just get out that old wire mesh strainer and start rubbing it through! Or you could borrow a blender. Use a pulse, not a steady blend. Steady blending results in powder. Pulsing cuts your weed.
And now for a hippie history lesson! :D
Hippies used to be divided into two basic groups-
There were the "country carders, who preferred carding out the stems and seeds (yes, most pot had seeds back then!) - resulting in a larger flaked product- good for pipes.
You put the pot in a shoe box lid, grab a card or matchbook cover and pour in your pot about 3/4 of the way down. Hold the lid at an angle, high end away from you. Scrape the card along the lid and push the pot up about an inch or two. Lift the card up and a few seeds will fall down toward the bottom. Repeat many times until seeds are gone. Takes some time, but you don't always have a 7-11 to pop into to get your zig-zags when you live in way out in the boonies! "Pipe weed" don't need no stinkin' papers! :hippy:
Then there were the "City sifters" who would rub dry weed through a wire mesh strainer. All the seeds and stems stay in the strainer. A couple of drops of water ( or other liquids- I knew a guy who liked adding rum or wine) restores the weed's moisture. TOO MUCH WATER CAN CAUSE MOLD!!! :( This sifting technique results in a finely flaked weed, good for joints. Use your largest-holed mesh strainer- most tea strainers make almost a powder! The drier your weed, the better this method works. :smokin:

sweet thanks a ton i used the card technique and then went over it again with a coffee strainer. that shit is total powder. thanks a ton stormcrow!
sizzors and a shot glass and just start to chop dont even look at you cuts just chop everything, make sure you watch out for spilling outta the glass.
if you buy a new grinder make sure it has the CNC TEETH as they dont break off and they stay sharp
