hit and run

some jerk off hit my truck today while i was at work. he backed into it and squished the bumper a bit and put a reall nice gouge in the back left panel, forget he did that hit and run is a crime. luckily my old gym teacher and some other kid saw it and wrote down the licesne plate number of the guys truck. so tomorrow im calling the fuzz explaining the stiuation and telling them i either want my truck fixed or charges pressed, both if possible.

on the bright side, i need a new bumper. so some d-bag out there thinking he's a smooth operator is going to get a call from john-Q law tomorrow. and with any luck, vengeance will be swift. :chainsaw:

When my old man had his jewlery shop he used to have to park in a multistorey and got dents and scratches all over his motor daily - no one EVER stopped and gave their numbers or even said sorry. He even had scratches on the roof!

Park 4 parking spaces awy from anyone if you expect to come back to a vehicle that has not had several doors opened and slammed into you. so today i went down to the police station and explained the situation. the chief gets ahole hit and run driver on the phone and says i have the owner of the truck you hit here and he'd like to talk to you. so i get on the horn and tell the guy that i want it fixed and soon. he sounded scared shitless. i would be too if the cop had called me up at work. anyways he agrees to get it fixed and the chief told me that if i had any problems at all he was going to give the d-bag a citation and let the judge make him fix my truck. needless to say about an hour ago i got a call from Geico saying that they're going to take care of all the damage. which is great because i wanted a new bumper for my truck, and now im going to get one :D

Man I'm glad for you! I'm in college and since I started parking on campus (just this semester) my car has two dents in it, one in the front, one in the back, both on the left side, and a red and yellow scratch along the entire back half of the right side.

How can some people just fucking DO things like that and just drive away?? It pisses me off so much, I tell you. I just got the car in April and already two dents in it. Assholes.

god damn for every thread i seem to have some sort of anecdote...
some imbecile scraped the side of my impala and some how nicked the fuck out of my 300 dollar rim, no license plates but later in the day i saw the fucker trying to leave the parking garage with a big blue scrape on his bumper... not regular blue the specific candy blue i have on my car, so we followed this asshole to his house and told him what was up, he paid up on the spot and was never heard from again... i prefer not to press charges, because although the guy is a douche, i dont want to fuck up his life with a needless court case because he paid up. must have been some sort of kingpin or something, he whipped out a stack and counted off 2500 dollars and his tag heuer and asked that we never speak of it again. repair only costed like 1700 or 1800 or something and i had a 300 dollar watch and almost 1000 dollars. he must have known that the court fees, charges and such would have costed him a whole lot more than if he just paid up on the spot. a smart dumbass i suppose. a hit and run made my day haha.

Where do you drive around at, Presidential Parkway? I get hit by people without insurance, the cop places the fault on the other driver, I hire a lawyer, I feel pain five years later, and, I still didn't get twice as much as you did.
