Chromium Crusher Grinder = awesome

I ordered this last week (20 bucks shipped) and just got it today and used it about an hour ago. It is awesome. It's heavy and big and works way better than my old grinder from the headshop.

If you are thinking about buying a grinder then get this one. At headshops normal grinders are at least 20 and this one is worth at lleast that money for sure. It even has a little velvet-like pouch that comes with it

yea i got the 4 piece though because kief catchers are the shit

ive had one for afew years now

mines the polished aluminum

the kief catcher sux, really doesnt work, but good for storage

and the best thing is the teeth will never fallout cause they are cnc cut
and that price is awsome i paid bout 60 for mine

How discrete is the packaging dziendobry4? I may get one but not sure if the rents would agree.

it's just a normal USPS box with a shipping label from Kai Trading Corp or something. nothing suspicious.

I like crystal catchers , when mines full i have pure crystal bongs , a full socket of crystal blows your f'in tittys off !!

pick up a grinder with a kief catcher and break up about an ounce with it, then smoke the kief. you'll be glas you did.

I'm looking for a good grinder but I'm wondering....don't the holes seem big on that? I want something that can grind it down to dust for cooking, this doesn't look like it can do that, and with those large holes it looks like it just won't grind it down far enough.

That grinder sure looks nice, but is there a good grinder that can get it down to dust?

I find cheese graders great for grinding....no kief for you but it gets its to shake just about.

cheese graters are hard with tiny nug though, or if its exessively dank. coffee grinders obviously rule all, but i dont have one anymore :( and theyre not portable :(.

i lost my grinder 3 days ago, and you guys are making me miss it:(

but yeah, ive seen lots of people happy with their chromium crushers, and they look well machined.

First of all, you'll want EXTREMELY dry bud. Not sticky, not damp.

The easiest way to turn it to dust is with an electric coffee bean grinder thing - but if you had a normal grinder [not kief catcher] you could get it to dust [as long as it's completely bone dry, and you dont mind grinding away for a minute or two]

But the weed being dry as a bone is the most important thing in getting it to power.

If you collected the kief you could use even less to cook with, less of the taste that some people dont like it - and if you use the same amounts as usual, you'll be hammered.

Thanks, this grinder in this thread looks pretty sweet and I'm thinking about it...even if it doesn't get it to dust I could use it for bud to pack in bowls...I think I'll stop by target and see if I can find a decent electronic grinder....most seem too big though...I'm not that rich I'd just be grinding maybe an 8th at a time not like 3 ounces lol

Ive never used a grinder before. I do realize that it does exactely what its named, but what is it actually used for?

It's used to take buds or pieces of buds or clumps etc and break them into smaller pieces that are easier to handle. A finely ground bowl is a noticeably different hit, intense..

So buying one if all i use is bowls and bong is a decent investment? Does it grind up stems also?(not saying that stems wont get you high) what about the possible seed?

Yeah, it will break up stems just fine into small pieces (no need to be super gentle or worry or anything). It will break up and detach the seeds/stems for easy removal or smoking or whatever. Considering you can get decent ones with metal teeth for $10, it's a pretty good investment.

Well got it today and seems pretty nice. I noticed any seeds will just get stuck in the holes and won't go through; so your end result is seedless pieces.

I've got a 4 inch wooden grinder that I got for $7, but I'm thinking I need one with a "pollen" catcher.

Mine broke the second time I used it. It was plastic rather than chrome.

I ordered from vaporizerdealer.com but it's been about 10 days now and haven't seen it yet.. :(

It looks like a beautiful grinder (I ordered the 2.25" with kief catcher). I used to have one just like it, pretty sure I paid like $50 (and it was some unknown brand).

I got one of these with my vaporizer from vaporizerdealer and they SUCK! It broke the first time I used it, plus the aluminum was flaking off into my bud and kief!

Well. When you order a vap from them they give you a free *aluminum* 4 piece grinder. When you order the grinder by itself you get a steel/zinc alloy whatever size...

Just got mine today. Looks great. :thumbsup: Won't be able to use it for a while though.

Got mine yesterday. The 3 piece had a pollen catcher, too.

cool, so are they good or not? the cheapie cheapie one at the store was that much, but i dont want to buy one if the break right away.

I have one now too,best grinder ive ever used and the price is right.

Mine too. Got it from ebay 2 years ago. The first one never got there. They sent a second with no problem, and the keif screen broke loose the day i bought it, which was my fault. I asked if I could order a replacement of that piece of the grinder, and they sent me a third one for free. I gave away the one with no screen and have been reccomending them ever since. Great $20 investment.
