Why the dentist sucks

LOL Purple Banana brought up how she had to go to the dentist tomorrow which sparked me and LaZ going off about how the dentist sucks... it's a little long but it's funny:D:wtf:

Nice. I'm actually going to the dentist tommorow. I have to get a cleaning and I have to set up an appointment to get my wisdom teeth cut out......I can't wait :(

Oh, and Im going to school to become a dental assistant now

OOh wisdom teeth extractions, those are fun. Hah.. I had all four of them taken out at the same time, my cheeks swelled up like a chipmunk. I ate soup and ice cream for days. Apparently when I was waking up from "being under" I was singing yellow submarine. LOL

Im actually really afraid of getting them out. Hows the pain? Like on a scale from 1-10

Yeah my wisdom teeth have literally been hurting like the dickens in my mouth for about a year now, but because of some insurance switch-over, I can't get them out until December of this year. LOL and tonight they actually started bleeding so I hope I can make it cuz they NEED to come out asap.

But back to the dentist, yes, I despise that place.

Sure, your teeth get all clean and stuff, but at the same time, it's usually both painful and unpleasant to sit there with some barf-breath dentist in my face. ~

Yeah when the dentist took an xray it showed that all of my wisdom teeth are almost completely sideways and pushing under my teeth. So its causing crowding. And since Im getting invisiline braces (the ones that pop in and out) I have to get them out.

There. Not hard.

They put me to sleep for it (THANK GOD!) but when I woke up the pain was awful, I would say it was about a 8. Thankfully they gave me a niiiiiiiice prescription for some vicodin and I was all good after that. Just eat lots of soups, and apply cold compresses to keep the swelling down.

Wow, I have had 3 dentists over the last few years and I have liked all of them. They have all been very good at everything and luckily I haven't had to have my wisdom teeth cut out. They only thing I have had other than cleanings was I had some broken filling fixed lately. But if I was nervous or whatever and I needed anything to take the edge off I could easily tell them or ask for it. If you need it don't hesitate to ask for it. If you need it get treatment under sedation.

the dentist sucks for the same reason every other doctor sucks... they lie out their asses.... at the dentist the shot in the mouth they say you won't even feel (you do, it's about equivelant to a peircing, so it's not like it hurts bad, but still, it hurts...)

i even had a doctor once tell me i won't even feel it (in reguards to getting a cathater)... yeah.... RIGHT...

i wish they'd just come out with it straight....

i mean honestly, i know it's going to suck, but i'm still here to do it, there's no need to lie about it... you lying to me about it isn't going to make it any better...

i dont have my wisdom teeth out yet... they only bother me like once a month or so and not really that bad anymore

IT WAS HORRIBLE !!! but then it was really fresh and clean...so it wasn't all that bad

i hate the smell when they're drilling (i had a root canal), and when lil bits of stuff (when they're cleaning) land on the back of my tongue and make me nearly puke, and when they have to make a crown and put that mouthpiece in w/the gunk to make a "copy" of your mouth for it, and you nearly puke cuz it stays in your mouth too long

So I was supposed to go to the dentist the other day (what I was saying in my posts above a few days ago). So my dad was with me b/c he was supposed to go too and right when we pulled into the parking lot I threw up. Yeah ick haha. So we had to reschedule. Luckily tho my dad and I smoked a bowl on the ride home. So that was a waste of time.

i have all of my wisdom teeth in and all fucked up but theyve been in for like five years and my teeth aren't all scraggly or even a little scraggly. they dont hurt very often so screw that. the dentists are BSers they constantly try to sell me shit like whitening shit and $400 electric toothbrushes. f that man my teeth are fine.

ive already had surgery in/near my mouth TWICE once for a cyst in my jaw and i also had two TWO root canals that developed from rotten baby teef roots. its totally worth it for the awesome prescrip you get (sorry mods its true though !) but i still don't want to go through it again. AND i don't have dental insurance, ouch.
