Hi Im new to this and I was hoping that you can help me with a problem. You see on 9/21/07 I took some tokes and I had to see my P.O. On 9/25/07 I dont smoke pot all the time Maybe once in a while. Any way he tested me with a cotton swab or saliva test, I think thats what it is. And I was wondering how long does it stay in your saliva? Am I in the clear or do I have to worry! I go back to see him on 10/16/07 Please let me know!
I think you are fine..you had 4 days, with that amount and time, you should be fine
well it really depends on several factors. For one thing the heavier you are the more likely you will have failed your test so if your a really skinny dude with a very fast metabolism then its possible you are in the clear. Another thing to note is how active you are in exercising, specifically areobic. If you run a lot or swim or bike or whatever then you might be fine but see it's a little condradicting as well because if you were active during the time of doing it and getting tested then that would make you more likely to fail the test due to the fact that fat is being burned releasing THC metabolites which would cause an instant fail. The only way exercising would work in cleaning your system is if you had several weeks prior to the test. So basically as long as you were very active in exercising prior to those tokes and as long as you are thin with a fast metabolism and you're not a heavy smoker then you should be alright.....but if your not....well lets just say you'll find out real soon how fucked you'll be.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't think any of that applies to swab tests.
lol oh right I forgot it was a saliva test. Well I suppose some of this applies to it but most is directed towards a piss test. Disregard that.

Wow, what a mess. In a round about way Dream of the Iris is right, if Dream noticed it was an oral fluids test, which you're face did point out to them. Stativatoker is kind of far off, THC metabolites can be found in the urine for anywhere from a few days to 60 days or more after one stops smoking, depending on everything from genetics, body type, physical activity, diet, smoking history, etc.
The oral fluids test usually has a detection window up 24-48 hours but I have seen some brands of tests that can go back 96 hours.
The OP is an occasional smoker with 4 days before the test, he should pass.
I don't think the OP should smoke while on probation though.
The swab test is the easiest of them all..IMO
