I was smoking with a very good friend of mine, some of my homegrown personal stash from last year, can't remember where I got the seeds, though... Anywho, we had JUST finished doing a mad super-cleaning her apartment, like a 4 hour job. I'm a very nice person. I also happen to like cleaning, so it fit. I made dinner, too- Italian meatballs, spaghetti, and I brought my bowl for dessert :D

This scrawny-looking hardxcore kid comes over to pick up something he left with his buddies last night while over here, and the host offers him a bowl of my spaghetti/meatballs, and the bowl I just packed. I introduce myself, and he does too, but more half-heartedly, which is fine, I figured he was tired or something.

My friend and I carry on our conversation, and he starts interrupting us, to talk to her. He then mentions how good the spaghetti/meatballs and the weed are, and then continues to interrupt me. He does this like 5 times, and I finally ask him "Could you please stop interrupting me, we all have something good to say, but let me just finish this story up with ____ first."

He stops, looks at me, and says "Excuse me, but no one hit YOUR buzzer. I'm talkin' here."

I grab MY bowl from his hand, point to it, and say "This is my bowl. This is my own homegrown weed. And that's my spaghetti/meatballs you're eating here. If you're going to continue to enjoy MY personal stuff that I'm graciously letting you consume, YOU will not interrupt me, and YOU will treat me with respect."

He just stared at me for a few minutes, quiet, and then mumbled he was sorry. He left 3 minutes later.

I don't care how hot shit you think you are. You treat this Banana with some RESPECT.

So I happened to bump into this kid again, at my friend's house, and I was playing guitar for a few of my friends, we were all singing along, on the couch when he came in. I had been playing a limited set of some Pink Floyd, and he keeps cracking shit like "Floyd is gay they suck" blah blah blah... I understand a lot of metalheads and screamcore kids don't like prog rock, and that's fine. He's entitled to his own opinion. I don't go saying all of his bands suck.

So we get back to playing, he's sitting on the couch, and starts saying my technique sucks, I need to do this and that, and I shouldn't be playing crap on that guitar.

I may not be the best guitarist; I've only been playing for 2 years, but I play well enough for me for learning on my own. I am getting better, but it takes time. I do not brag about my abilities. I just like making music.

This kid is now banned from my friend's apartment.

SERVES HIM FUCKIN' RIGHT.

Incidentally, you mentioned Floyd. If you EVER get the cahnce, see Australian Pink Floyd (cover band fro PF of course) - they are- in one word - truly amazing, he, he, he... Well, maybe TWO words.... Even Roger Waters and David Gilmore get into 'em!

I'll be seeing them for the second time November 17th. I can't wait, and now i have the weed need to proceed, LOL...

He doesn't know my name, don't worry. My two friends only know I grow because they used to dry and cure the buds at their place, it was a joint effort. I trust them with everything.

He's from Jersey, anyway, which is rather far from where I'm at. I just can't stand how he thinks he's all badass and shit. He DOES play guitar, but like I said, mostly hardxcore kind of stuff, so I'm in no position to 'jam' with him (he doesn't like to 'jam,' says is for "Hippie faggots who listen to CSN&Y and the Grateful Dead")

EDIT: And thanks thcbongman- you're right, I VERY rarely get angry. I 'blow up' maybe once every 3 years? I'm very, very laid back; there's no point in me getting stressed out easily, it makes me feel like crap when I do. But I did it tastefully, and kept my cool. AND I SHOWED THAT BASTARD.

I am going to see a Floyd cover band in November as well, not sure if they're Australian, I think they're American, but they're fuckin' phenominal! I saw Roger on his last tour, and likewise with David, and I have to say, although I like Roger and David both, David had a much better voice/guitar/light show... Roger's voice lost its edge with age, but it was still an excellent show!

And you're so right, Roger's voice has faded a bit, but David's is still spot on. This guitar player for APF is an amazing guitarist. Have a cigar, you're gonna LOVE it!
