Would this be a good buy or would it be so hard to clean that I wouldn't wanna use it? It seems like the stems would get clogged after a while.

if you have a big enough pot you can boil it its not that hard
NAH god boiling wont do shit for that, at least i dont think so! what i would do is go to your local smoke shop by a bottle of "420" or "Bling" which is really good cleaner fill half of the first chamber by pouring the liquid through the bowl, then fill the next chamber with the cleaning solution through the mouth peice! clog or plug one hole (prefferably the mouthpiece) then plug carb and bowl with fingers and shake the shit around! it will get it all and leave a good smell to it!!!!!!!!! and then it will hit like it did when you first got it!

as for the stems, extra long cue tips! TRUST ME keeping your piece in a hygienic state isnt that hard!
why wouldnt boiling work? works with my bubbler,i do it with all my glass and they all hit like brand new.
Rubbing alcohol and salt, or a good bong cleaner (ROOR recommended).
Fill it up with the liquid, leave it for some time (10 mins, 1 hour? ), shake it every so often.
If your using something good, it will clean up no problem.
