Amsterdam property buyout aims to clean up Red Light district

:) Amsterdam is probably the finest place I have ever visited, just for the open minded policy towards the weed, alone. Sounds like a few bad ones are going to mess it up for the majority.

amsterdam is just trying to get there city under controll, with all that prostitution, drugs and tourists comes alot of money and alot of money equals alot of criminal activity (in gen.) there not changing any laws. prostitution and weed will still be leagle there just cleanning up the city so it isnt so dam trashy. ...who would wanna waste there money on those whores anyways, u do no that vag has been penatrated thousands of times probly. shit go to the bars and u can find a cheaper girl that fucks better and isnt "used"
Ya its just a city cleanup. There are still gonna be coffeeshops and prostitutes, just not as many.

exactly i mean, ya YOU may think prostitutes are sweet and awsome but other ppl dont think so, i find them rather trashy and a HUGE waste of money. plus most of these girls get into prostitution young and once they grow up and find out that its a HORRIBLE way to live your life they try and get out of the "profession" but cant, ether there not aloud to or they are so un educated they cant find a job to pay the bills.
The prostitutes in Holland are probably more in power than most people here realise, the industry is controlled and the girls are all free to decide what they want to do. However the rise in eastern European criminal gangs active in the area has caused the goverment to close certain brothels in a clean up campaign. The Rose Buurt will not be closing and coffee shops will still be around, I personaly believe if your only reason for visiting Amsterdam is the coffee shops then you should stay where you are.
Amsterdam is so much more than just hookers and hash , the ignorant people that believe that's the only reason for going there is something the Nederlanders want to get rid of.

Everyone deserves the chance to experiance liberty, therefore everyone mature enough to do so, should ebrace the liberal culture f the Netherlands and specifically Amsterdam. If i wish to go there and smoke hash and have sexual relations with women (even prostitutes are women) then i shall do so and enjoy my experiance and ignore blind hatred and intolerance towards my choices and preferences and values.
I went on a Rhine river cruise a few years ago with my family... We passed through the Netherlands, stopped in Amsterdam for a day or so (I didn't smoke pot then, so I didn't know about it), and I really liked it. It was a BEAUTIFUL day- we went during tulip season, and the colors were phenominal. The concentric canals were also pretty damn cool. The people were VERY friendly as well.
I'd like to go back again some day, but the pot would simply be an accessory to the trip.
Might be a little like the clean up in NYC between the 70's and 80's... look at times square in 70 and compare it to now... wayyy different

I am happy for you that you enjoy other parts of amsterdam, as do I. As for the people that go there only for cannabis and legal prostitution, good for them and enjoy it, it's none of my concern and i shall not hate upon those that choose to do such actions. You may think I need to grow up, you are entitled to your opinion. I am that I am and i grow day by day, perhaps you should pertain to your own business, your patronising and condescention make it difficult for one to grow up peacefully.
