Topping Info. needed

we now have two plants in hydro. doing great and the other day we clipped top off one plant to try and see what happens in hope to get more cola's ? How long does it take for the plant to regrow the tops once they have been clipped ?? Like we said we only did one plant in case it fails we still have the other plant. We hope to post pic's soon.... camera went on blink on us...

A couple of days and you should see the seperation. By weeks end you should really see the difference.

In 10-14 days after topping in dwc I get about 8-12 new shoots that become colas from the undegrowth . :D

WOW "Crispi" I hope for our first time we get that lucky, like i said we only did one plant just in case,, so it has been about 2 days so we will see, i guess in abut 2 weeks once they gets more shoots we can just go ahead and put them in flower mode and take it from there or should we allow them to grow more after shoots appear?

No question about it,you should top both,especially if space is an issue you WILL get more colas.Rather than having one big top cola,you get loads,making it easier to pin back branches to let more light in.Works for me.Good luck,RM.

2 weeks after topping should be fine.i put mine into flower at abbout 22 inches high,now look at the beasts(34 days into flower)[attachment=o159090] hope everthing goes well for u.P.s this is my 1st time hydro,so if i can do it....Peace,rastaman.

i would fimm them the 1 i fimmed has 25 tops to it and the other 1 i fimmed has 15 and are triple the size or more than the ones i just topped

Gettin a bit off topic now, but i dont know what u mean by fimmed, do u mean thinned? i only topped once,and what came came.i know it does`nt apply to all mj plants,but its workin for me and my mango.

no i mean fimming it's when u cut 80% of the top growth not at the top stalk but the growth look it up
