Surprisingly i dont know anyone personly that does it but i just had some questions...how much do you need? How does it feel? and basically anything else you can say about it...cause im thinking of trying it i just dont know enough about what to do,and oh whats fun when your on it?

Cherry - It's really not the first step upon a dark and dreary road. ;) If you have self-control then you'll be fine. But if you're one of those people that have to keep taking things a step farther.. well then stick to the weed.
Anyway, dosage depends on weight. I'm 250 and I take 2 tussin bottles or 16 CCC's. I've only done DXM twice, because I think it blows. But, to each their own. I know plenty of good people that use DXM once or twice a month for a good time. I would recommend not doing CCC's as they eat holes in your brain and stuff. Though, I did find them to be mountains more enjoyable then tussin syrup. Really what you should do is have your local Walgreens order you some "Dexalone". Or just order DXM from legalhighs.org . You probably want to take 300-500 mg of DXM your first trip. And make sure that DXM is the only active ingredient.

Prolly just drink the bottle. If you're concerned about your health then you want to make sure that DXM is the only Active Ingredient other then maybe alcohol.
And I gotta say I have NEVER been near as confused as I was on DXM... except on salvia.. but I don't remember that trip at all. lol.. my friend just told me that all I kept doing was asking who I was and if he was Jesus. No, I haven't tried it.
Even though my life is currently on a major downer, I still refrain from stepping onto the path of self-destruction -it would be one of the easiest things to do.
I dunno, but I've lived in an inner-city environment, and have seen kids destroy themselves for the want of escaping their dreary lives. It's so sad, and I suppose that I worry that using prescription type drugs can ruin a person.
I don't want to sound like a preacher, especially as I am not fully aware of the facts etc - but I also feel that I would be letting a fellow stoner down, if I didn't advise against such things.
At the end of the day, it's each to their own - as long as no-one else is suffering as a result - and people gotta do their own thang...but I know that I would feel let down if someone didn't offer me both sides of the story, you know?
All I'm saying, is that getting high is something that I regard as being as much a spiritual thing, as it is a 'tool' for accepting reality.
Plus - all too often, I've seen people who look for a high just for the sake of getting high, or to be accepted into a peer-group - if you got access to weed, then surely that is enough?
That said, I was recently inquiring about the effects of Salvia, because I was "thinking of trying out...", so I guess that I am not one to preach - the only difference being that Salvia is a natural thing, whereas DXM is a man-made thing....I think I'd trust natural essence over synthetic stuff, every time.
As I say, each to their own, but drug abuse is the easiest thing in the world to fall into...getting back out....well, that aint so easy...

Res - Very intelligent post. You should definately try some salvia. If you want I can send you a pinch of some 10x standardized ((or 20x if I have some left after this weekend)) if you wanna send me a SASE ((self-addressed stamped envelope)). I have quite a bit of it. I'll throw in some plain leaf too, just because I have a kilo of it. ;) Salvia is WaY better then DXM in my opinion, partly because it's natural, and partly because it's way shorter. You should definately try it out.
To be honest, after thinking it through.. I think drugs that are really easy to aquire should be avoided for alot of people. Alot of people simply can't handle it. I know people ((and see people on this forum)) who just have to keep going for more and more. Eventually, they end up drinking 3 robos and eating a box of CCC's. They end up in the hospital. They either learn one hell of a lesson, or die.
DXM is a safe drug is you can moderate yourself. Some people simply can't do this though. When they don't have access to weed or whatever other drug of choice they have, they search for anything to get high.
Try DXM a couple times, but be careful. I guess some people think it's great. I, personally, fucking hated every second of it.
