Should cannabis be a casual part of our lives?

I smoke cannabis at some point everyday and ive noticed my perception of cannabis has changed. I dont really consider it a drug anymore, like how we dont consider coffee a drug. Yesterday some friends came by and nobody even said a word in general about weed, we simply sat outside, shot the shit rolled up toked and didnt think a thing of it.

Essentially do you think cannabis should be considered something special to enhance certain special moments or do you think its something we should do as naturally as making a pot of coffee in the afternoon?

Well it depends how often you do it at the moment I dont smoke it that often I've cut down a lot because I dont have as much free time and I want to focus more on college and stuff, So I probably only have it once a week.

But back a few months when I used to smoke it everyday I did use to just smoke it casually exactly like you said would just wake up and naturally make a joint and also before I went to bed... oh and throughout the day aswell haha :stoned:

for me its definitely an enhancer, to make my happiness so much greater. ah, smoking with the person you love is THE best feeling in the world. just you two and your joint, enjoying each others company.

I think if your life is pretty much in order, bills paid, go to work everyday, clean house, going to church, kids are taken care of, dog is happy (lol, not in that order) and its not getting in the way of anything. Why not, just like lots of people have a glass of wine before bed. What alot of people dont realize is that, not everyone that smokes weed is lazy, sleeps till 2PM and lives with their parents. We make up alot of the working population and contribute to society in many ways. Weed is not bad, its better than cigs and liquor, but you cant grow either of those, so they will always be taxable. Not so true with a natrual element.

I would say both. Sometimes its nice to use it as a celebration, other times its just like coffee or beer.

I smoke pretty much every day and it's become casual for me, but for people who smoke less it can be a bigger deal. :p

A good analogy to smoking after a hard days work is the guys/gals who come home and pour themselves a good stiff drink. Thing is, they CANNOT DRIVE to go get a taco or a twinkie, while after I toke up (if I had some to toke up WITH at present), I can drive like Mario Andretti, and still bring home the tacos and twinkies, LOL....

if folks can smoke ciggarretes cassually, the folks should be allowed to do the same with cannabis.

Its as normal as brushing my teeth to me now. I have it for almost all events.

i smoke allday every day and i also don't look at weed as a drug, but everyday at work at some point we allways have weed discussions. i don't use it for a celebration as it's just normal to me to smoke i have champagne for those events in my life.:jointsmile:

Cup of coffee like mentioned furthur up in the thread . As long as all lifes goings ons ar in order , responsibilities are taken care of why not ?

yeahh it's apart of my everyday life, no thinking required it just ends with a spliff in my mouth always, at work, when i wake up, before bed, at the movies, before i eat, when i brush my teeth, after my shower........lol all the time

It bloody well should be tolerated.

For me, its an after work relaxing kind of thing, similar to how some people enjoy having a beer when they get off work.

i am a smoker as well yup like that other dude said when ever i have it with friends or what ever . thats nice smoking the whole family very cool but i wont bust your style
