Atleast go get some 2-year degree first if you can. Getting a good job without some college is hard.
A good sales job will allow you to start making decent money right from the start.
When you progress into hi-tech sales then the $$$ will def get better.
Listen to THClord and get a college education. If you still live at home, you should be able to work and go to school at the same time.
sell weed. just kidding....actually go to college and get a nice degree and then you can get a good job that pays off real nice $$$$
This is not to disagree, I definitely agree a college degree will take you along way. But it's entirely possible to do so. But doing so, you gonna have to work bottom up, continually learn and make yourself open to opportunity, and have a bit of luck. If something happens to you however, you'll tumble back to the bottom again.Quote:

The other option is stock investing. But that requires mad discipline, constant analysis and monitoring, unless you get lucky from simply speculating. "Boring" work. Making the right choices will help your assets grow.
But in the end, you gotta do what you feel. If you can't put up with that shit, and can't be happy doing it, seek something you have a passion for.
I recomend gigalo, that way you dont have to work that much the pay is good and you make your own hours.
Go to school., get a degree in something you enjoy. You like history? Major in it. You a good artist? Major in art. Just be sure you enjoy doing what you are gonna major in!
But DO go to school. It's hard to get a high-paying job without college.
Or if you like to bust your arse, work construction. most of those dudes toke up, and you make fair cash.
What do you love? What do you hate?
If you have a job you truly love, the pay is a small matter. I work in a high stress, low pay job, but I always have a smile on my face (and it isn't due just to cannabis, either! :stoned: ). I come in every morning with a joyful heart- I do "good work". Special Education isn't for everyone, but there is a "good job" that fits you. You just have to figure out what it is! What do you love? Where is your passion? The answers lie within you!
If you have a job you hate, you won't be happy no matter how much it pays or how much you toke. :( The bad feelings will always be with you. Look for a job you can love! - Granny:hippy:
blue collar poppin'!
Well it depends, what qualifications do you have and what are you interested in?
Anyway, welcome to the boards mate :).
Are you male or female? What things do you like/are interested in/good at and what things do you hate/find boring/suck at?
Being a server/bartender/barback in a restaurant/bar is a decent job for money but it is hard work. Construction is the same. If you're a girl being a cocktail waitress or dancer can be decent money and some what low stress.
what are you interested in?? have you had any vocational training or anything like that? you could start at a technology center..find something interesting and get a bit of training if you're a bump on a log right now..remember bud, mcdonalds is something that's hard to make a good career out of..there's a lot of great opportunities for jobs..you've just got to ensure it's something you're capable of doing, and you will enjoy doing..and also I've noticed a decent percentage of employers still may do an initial drug test, but as long as your work performance isn't poor they usually don't do it after that..I have several friends that have jobs that started like thatQuote:

I think it'd be neat if you became a politician so you can have more influence than the rest of us in office to reform this countries drug and import laws. And when you get there, you could quote all of us here at cann.com!
Or, you could do what everyone else is saying and find your passion. What do you enjoy doing? Keep in mind that if cannabis becomes legal within the next decade, you could easily find a cultivation/breeding/distribution/marketing/etc job for our favorite herb! (Anyone think...Malboro White?) If you're into cars, you could go into design and start designing the next generation of automobiles. If you think our planet is going to die because of our use of non-renewable resources, you can go into engineering and start helping the world take a step towards a brighter and cleaner future. Whatever you enjoy doing, or whatever you truly believe in, there is a career associated with it.
be a business owner. if you got skills and supply, you got your self some dollarz
:rastasmoke:
Dental Hygienists make upwards of 70k a year, part time! Seriously. If you are a guy though I don't think it would be too good because your hands might be too big. It's only a two year degree too. Plus the job market is amazing.
im with madsativa slingin D is a good way to make money granted you might have to screw a fat chick from time to time
hey man, i just switched from Business into Culinary..u have any interest in becoming a chef??
Go to college or a tech school, get a degree in something that will earn you a living.... not just an existance. Liberal Arts is *not* the way to go. At this point in your life, your too youg to know what you want to *do* for the rest of your life. Innitially, you need a vocation that will keep a roof over your head and food on the table. You can worry about a "second career" in something that you have a passion for, when you figure out what that is. Regardless of your vocation, it will take years to work your way up to earning a decent salary.
I didn't start out being a business owner, or a Master Technician, that makes $110/hr, I started out sweeping floors, and going to school.
Yeah, Ill second a few things; stock investing and college education. Find yourself a good stock broker. Definitely a long term thing, but if you want a swimming pool full of marijuana thats a good way. Just make sure you put your money in some international funds. I wouldnt count on America's economy.
Buy a multi-family home as soon as you can afford it. Multiple incomes contributing to the funds you have available to pay a mortgage will make for a good 'lifestyle subsidy', lol... if you are handy enough and personable enough to deal with the headaches associated with having tenant/neighbors.
yeah go to school or do a training program. it all depends on where u live what u like to do. i like to work outside, recently ive realized i have a flair for people and sales.
just go with w/ what feels natural bro, let everything come to you...
right now i work 40 hrs a week @ mcdonalds but pretty soon ill have another job and 70+ hrs a week. its not my dream jobs but right now ill be able to work some killer hours and try to make some extra $$$
best of luck, i stay high as a kite @ my work:D
DONNY:stoned:
Go to college .
Engineering is good , I have travelled the world and made tons of money as a structural engineer and would reccomend it to anyone.
If I could start over I'd be a pimp;)Then I could get the best of both worlds.Free pussy and smoke dope whenever I wanted plus a little jingle in my pocket:rasta:
If you're planning your future career around pot smoking, you have bigger problems than career indecision.
Well "ya gotta" line your 'ducks up' first
never give up searching 4 what "YOU" want
'no jobs perfect'
your feet may hurt wearin stylettos
or wearing that 3 pc suit in 90 deg weather and wing tip shoes 40 or more hrs a week, and lets not forget, lunches from "chuck wagons" has its moments,
have you finished with edu? degree gets the attention
Do you like to stay home?
Drive?
Work from home, set own hrs, own pay, dont let the outcome exceed the income,
ya gotta want to work and hold a good job, its tuff climbing out of that bed at 4 AM, you will put body & soul" into your job, the happiness of your "future children" will be in your hands, if you cannot" cut it" in the working world, it can be "back bitingly painful "in the working world.
