Ahh....Roommates.

I really need to rant...like...reallly bad.

I clean my house every goddamned day..due to the fact that my 2 roommates are complete slobs and don't do SHIT.

I have tried to just let their stuff sit there and to see if they would ever actually clean it up...and NEVER EVER have they ONCE done shit.

I will clean the whole freakin' house..and an hour later ill go into the guest room I just cleaned for a guest thats coming soon...and there is TRASH and FOOD and DISHES and an unmade bed and everything...and they don't do shit!

I never even get a thank you. I bet I could ask them where the broom is and neither one of them would have a freakin' clue.

On top of all that (they are a couple by the way)..they have a recently aquired DRUG problem...thats right...they are now addicted to PILLS..xanax..sleeping pills..opiates..ETC.

Not to mention, they recently got into heroin TOO.

So they are always fucked up...sleep all day...are up all night...sometimes they get in huge fights..like where they are beating eachother up..

A week ago his girlfriend ended up locked out of the bedroom NAKED in the hallway....freaking the fuck out saying he hit her..and I bang on his door and hes bleeding all down his arm because she bit him hardcore..

Shes freaking out trying to beat up anyone that touches her...all naked...my boyfriend had to hold her down and she was spitting in his face and stuff.

..and they don't even know what happend!

I don't know what the fuck to do...ahh this whole situation SUCKS.

It was fine before she moved in with him...then she sucked him in to her drugs.

TO make matters worse she has a 3 and a half year old son...that has to stay with his grandma because shes too fucked up!!!
..Her work gave her a leave of absence to get better..
..and it's much worse..

I'm at my wits end! I am so sick of cleaning up after these people and confronting them is no use...they are too fucked up to even care.

Sorry about talking about other drugs besides marijuana..I just really needed to rant and I can't really rant about this to anyone I know without it getting back to them.

Basically, roommates suck.
I can't wait until I don't have any.

on top of that kids are involved, millions times worse in my eyes
my sister has 2 kids and and they are always fucked up, i hate it and think its the stupidest thing
some of the worse things in the world to me are abuse to women and children and also neglect for wife and children

I am pretty much at that point.

I talked to one of them today...I told him I was sick of cleaning up after him and his girlfriend..and that they have NEVER cleaned..and all he did was say "I know..it's going to get better"..and I told him "thats what I keep hearing...but it's only getting worse..and I don't trust him anymore...but that if shit doesn't start to change I am going to turn into a psycho bitch, and I don't want to do that."

They are little kids.
....and to make matters worse...my ONLY lighter was on the counter...and now it's gone..and they have not seen it.

They are really freakin' annoying.

I work my ass off, I get off work, and I clean the house...only to find that they haven't left their bedroom all damned day!!

They have black curtains too..and they are always closed..

We are all renting.. It started out with my boyfriend and I, and our best friend(of a long time). We have really expensive rent so we need all the help we can get.....we need at least one other person living here....and they share a bedroom and half the rent at this point...(although he pays all her rent while she doesn't do shit)

..well then he gets a girlfriend with a drug problem..and moves her in with us so that he can help her get off the drugs.

..which in turn only turned him into a drug addict, and hes really sucked in.

You can be sitting with them having a conversation and they will just pass out sitting up...

They go through 30 xanax in 2 days...:(:(:(

My roommates didn't do sh*t and i was always pickin up after them.And like you said when you confront them it's like they don't even care! We are hoping soon that my boyfriend and I will have the funds to live here by ourselves...but at this point we can't afford 1400$ a month between us 2...

At least I live in a really nice house...tooo bad my roommates suck. I just try to ignore them as much as possible..it just seems to be getting harder...

Supposedly they are trying to get pregnant so that they will stop doing drugs.

Well thats the thing...they have only been together like a month and a half...

The last time her son stayed here was 3 weeks ago...supposedly they are going to get him tonight...
..but when her son is here..I swear she just makes us freakin' take care of him! He even sleeps in our bed!!

They are fucking crazy. She always talks about how much she loves her son and stuff...but yet...shes NEVER with him...ever.

They are out of their minds....This girl had her first kid when she was 18 years old...and had her 2nd kid when she was 21(although she died at 2 months old)...hence the reason why she got into drugs.....but apparently she was into them before she got pregnant with that daughter..and that was how she stopped the drugs in the first place.

...She needs to seriously hit rock bottom and realize what the hell shes doing...and he does too.

His sister came to visit..and made a huge dinner and everything..and he didn't even show up until 10pm at night...and he was super fucked up..so they got in a huge fight..and she left town..and I ended up having to clean it all up! No thank you for that...and no thank you for making the dinner either.

This guy used to be my best friend before he got involved with this chick...and now I don't even know him...and I told him that too..

I can't believe you tolerated living with heroin addicts for this long.

There's only one thing you can do. Kick them out. Tell them, get the hell out. If they aren't willing to leave on their own, explore legal channels. You don't have to tolerate this if they aren't coherent enough to use sense.

I don't even know what to say? I just can't believe that all your going through hasn't made you wanna do something crazy! For instance lose your flippin mind or just start tearing sh*t up! Sorry to hear what your going through and i really do hope things get better for you. Take care!;)

Well the heroin thing is recent supposedly....it's mainly just been pills...and it only started to get bad about 3 weeks ago..

Shes only lived here like 5 weeks..and the first 2 he was trying to get her to quit...then he got sucked in..and everything has gone to shit.

I would love to kick them out if it were that easy..but unfortunatly it's not...I have really high rent...

...my boyfriend and I are currently in the process of trying to figure out what to do about this all..they just keep saying it's going to get better...but I will become a psycho bitch soon enough....

The least you could do is start to explore new tenants. At least you'd have some lined-up before you pull off the inevitable, two goes out, another sane one comes in :D

Were just done with roommates...were working towards being able to just live here together with no one else...

We lived alone before this in a 1 bedroom house..and our best friend ended up just living on our couch..so we got a place with him...and then this all happend..

..but yeah, not much longer will it last like this...

Unfortunatly we now have a 500$ car payment each month....so money is even tighter...ahh.

This doesn't help in any way, but thats why I live alone: can't stand having to deal with other people's shit except when I decide to. Being forced to live with somebody, no matter who, for me, is not a good thing; I can't stand anyone anyway, and no one can stand me after a weekend.

So, living alone is just the best damn thing. If I had a significant other, they'd be living here as well. I mean, hell, rent's only 375 bucks here.

Your situation would definitely have me breaking a window and throwing my neck into the jagged frame.

Damn, that is a shitty situation. but thcbongman made a good suggestion... You should totally find some willing tennants, talk to the landlord or owner of the place your renting from, and kick them the fuck out. the next willing tennants should be more sane.

i agree. roommates blow. easy way to take someone your friends with and start to hate them, start living with them. even if they arent slobs, theyll get on your nerves in one way or the other.

Fuck em, move out with your boyfriend. It may seem like alot of hassle, but once your out, you won't have to deal with these fools.

I feel for you. I recently moved into an apartment in Rome. I was afraid my roommates would be anti-weed, but within the first few hours of meeting all three of them, we already planned a trip to Amsterdam.

I don't have anything to equate to your problem, though.. all my roommates are pretty cool, and it's interesting to live with a Sudanese guy and a Bulgarian.

Why don't you just... move out? You may say it's not that easy, but... it's not that bad. Especially since you can move into your boysfriend's place until you find a new place. Based on what happened to him holding down the chick, I'm pretty sure he'll understand...

all i can say is that whoever brings junk into my house is gunna get an air bubble while they're sleeping. I understand he is a long time friend but suppose the off chance that cops got tipped off & get a warrant you guys would all be going down. im sorry but thats just the way I feel

Thats the thing...my boyfriend and I do live here...we just can't afford 1400$ rent on our own right now...and we like this house..it's a great house. Roommates just tend to suck.

Things are getting better though, I think. Or maybe I am just caring less.
At least they started to clean more.

i know exactly how u feel about the whole opiate thing. i went through that with my X girlfriend. every single day was a hustle for her to figure out how to get pills. ive also had a few local friends overdose on fentnyl and oxy. it absolutely sucks, they always feel like shit and neve have any energy.

whats wrong w/talking about other drugs and telling the TRUTH about them. there is a big difference between that and glorifying them. its so hard for people to get off pills. it makes me sick. patch is HUGE up here.

i keep it simple and green. my room mate picks up a decent ammount. its his little dog sparky thats aways chewing the shit out of my work attire. then i gotta go to work loking like i just got beat up.
