Myth #2, Addiction... This is a tough one. Clearly herb is not oon the level of cigs, coke, or horse, but I know when I quit smoke Sunday I was a little queezy and generally out of it for two days. Otherwise, the withdrawls I would say are mental. Mostly just hard to stop smoking if you got nothign else to do with your time... I do feel I should add it has been my experience that habitual use of MJ has caused a deminished emotional response in myself...
Myth #3... Poppycock... Unless you smoke a full joint every few hours to yourself, like a cig...
Myth 4...Absolute, pure disinformation; []bReefer Madness[/b] style. I would attribute this correlation not to MJ use but rather to evironmental factors.
Myth 5... Ah yes, just because they classify it as a schedule 1 means that it obviously has no medicinal beifits. Except we know that is false. Very false. In fact, I myself use it medicinely as a relaxing agent to help calm the racing thoughts when I go to bed.
Myth 6... Comparing MJ to "E" or any other hard drug is like comparing apples and oranges. This is the single reason MJ has taken on the gateway role it has.
Myth 7... Yup, mostly true... But for 1 reason alone; because its illegal one most go to the black market for supplies of MJ. BLack markets are highregulated and typically patroned by less-than0desireables
Myth 8... Just like guns. Its not about whether they are exposed, its how they are exposed. I wish my folks would have been straight with me about MJ, but I think they honestly didn't know better. I will talk to my kids honestly about the benifits and draw backs of smoking MJ.
Myth 9... Its not up to parents to stop their children from smoking MJ. Its up to parents to accurately inform them so they can make an intelligent choice as to whether or not there is room in there life for Mary...
Myth 10... Fact of the matter is the government is persecuting herbal tokers, who really harm no one. But I won't get into that here...
