My friend (lets call him Bob) is keen on getting a bong, but at the moment, hes on a bit of a break, hockey seasons starting and he wont survive the workout with his smoking habits, now I have a question, when he does start using this thing, how bad will it reak? Hes keen on storing it in his room at his dads place (his dad is pretty chillen, but not when it comes to drugs), and does anyone have any tips on where else to hide it to keep his 'rents out of his business?
if you're using a bong.. it will definitly have a distinctive smell unless you use a doobtube or some sort of ventillation and/or air purifier. I use an air purifier, doobtube, and glade air infusion aerosol can..
It may be pretty difficult to store though, you should look into a bubbler. Much smaller and not that hard to clean IMO.

Any tips on storage to conceal it and the smell?
keep it at a friends house and dont smoke at home :)
would be the easiest option aside from not getting the bong. im in a similar position. i have a bong, do not want my mother to find it. i keep it in my gig bag, since i have my guitars just out in my room. the bag has been there for months, so my mom isnt suspicious of it. a large bag that is in a spot where it looks like it always has been is your best bet.Quote:

When I was at home for the summer, I kept my bong in a shoe box in a corner with like two other shoe boxes. Didn't look out of the norm at all and I kept the bong wrapped up in a shirt to sort of cover the smell. Never noticed a smell really :bonghit:
(1) Get something more covert than a bong
(2) Keep the bong at someone else's place
(3) Guitar case! It works for me!
i kept my bong in my golf bag standing in the midddle of my room when i lived at home. my parents are very against drugs also, and caught me other ways several times. but they never found anytihng in my golf bag so thats where i learned to keep everything lol also if u have speakers with covers in your room that are large enought to fit it in u can unscrew all but 3 screws that attach the speaker to the box and put it in there and replace the speaker cover and no one would never ever know to look in there. i did this way also but i smoke too much to be screwing and unscrewing to get to my bong
If you have a guitar amp you can store it in the hollowed out back of you amp.
well you said "he" plays hockey keep it in a old hockey bag in the closet,and as for the smell dump the water out every time "he" uses it.
yeah I was a little worried the first time i had to hide my bong, But now i smoke in my room and no one even notices. what you wanna do is Empty the bong every time (preferably in the toilet, and flush right after.. there goes the "smell" factor) Then put the bong in a shirt or something to hide the resin smell. and put that in a duffel bag, or backpack or something big enough to fit it in. then hide it in your closet. Bam your good to go. also before, during, and after smoking use incense to hide the smell. That way you can smoke right in your room. :D

Yeah, as long as you dump the water after every use the bong itself won't stink. Just try and find a box or a bag that hasn't been moved or checked on in a few months and tuck it in there. He might want to think ahead and just put an empty box in his closet now, and let it sit there for a while before he buys the bong so that any suspicions will be allayed.
