It does... because you get that rep as a "pothead/stoner" which is kind of a asshole comment. I don't base my excistence around weed, but i do enjoy a toke. I don't know what we really did to them to piss them off to have them consider us "scum"
Eh, I think about it here and there. Sometimes I sort of think lower of myself, but not usually. In the end, they can all just kiss my ass. Chances are I'm more intelligent and experienced in other areas of life than they are anyway and If I want to smoke marijuana, then so be it. Amen.

First off, Ozzy, pothead/stoner is not an asshole comment. That's what you want to be right? Except pothead is just a dumb term. I like being a stoner.
It's a shame that people don't realize that there are different types of smokers. There are people that smoke to relax and have fun, but at the same time there are people that do nothing but smoke and let it interfere with everything. I understand why someone would look down on someone who would be stupid with weed. But, too much of anything is never good.
If you're talking to anyone and you mention that you smoke weed and they say "Oh, that's real cool" in a sarcastic way, just reply, "Yeah, I know, it's fuckin' badass."

i do like to smoke, and i enjoy every gram i smoke... but some times i wonder if it's worth it. I mean, like if you get caught with weed... is it true that all scholarships to college are lost. Non smokers are not perfect, some of them drink, others waste mad money gambling and the "healthier" ones are watching programs about the lifes of celebrities, or maybe being really busy worrying about fashion or maybe working 70 hours a week because they have to support a family, and people like that are not scum are they?
I mean everyones got something, maybe a fix or maybe just something wrong with their lives that they would rather change. I think its about living and accepting your self, getting the better out of things you do.

Yes, Helter, we all have a vice of some sort. But, what makes us the scum of the earth is that we chose a vice that is highly illegal. At the same time there are people getting drunk, gettin in a car and killing whole families. When you are under the influence of alcohol, one is unpredictable. I am a strong believer that people who smoke weed have control over every one of their actions sober or not. If you get into a car after smoking weed and kill someone you cannot blame it on weed, if you did something stupid while you were high, its because you are stupid. Anyone agree with that?
not always legal means right and illegal means wrong. Its legal to drink while everyone knows drunk people are alot more dangerous than stoned people. Even cigarrettes, you know how many people die each year for smoking so much cigs?
I think right and wrong is just a perceptive thing, it depends on who lives it and who sees it.
I don't care about the people who think all potheads are evil or stupid or whatever. If you're ignorant enough to believe stuff like that, I couldn't care less what you think of me. No matter what you say to me, I know smoking pot does not make you dumb or cause brain damage or any of that crap. Off Topic - We hypothesize that the universe is infinite, no? In an infinite place there has to be other life, most likely life more advanced than us and life beneath us. Law has nothing to do with right and wrong. The legal system does not know "right or wrong" and is supposed to leave those decisions to the people (vote for laws) so enforcement will match some sort of "community standard".
In theory it's a great system.
In reality, a small percentage of fascist enforcement doesn't understand their role in society (enforce community standards) and small but influential power mongers skew the results so community standards are not accurately represented.
Also you've got those mongers in Washington who think the whole country is one community and don't recognize what it means when San Francisco keeps reversing Washington's decisions...
