Can I eat the morning of the test? More ?'s!!

OK. Here's the deal. I have a test on Thursday morning. I have bought a few drug tests from the local drug store and here's my experience.

Day 16 of not smoking: failed (2nd void of the day)
Day 19 of not smoking: passed at 8PM after drinking three cocktails (faint line)
Day 21 of not smoking: failed at 4PM (normal day again)
Day 23 of not smoking (just now): Passed with faint line


I have read the sticky on dilution, along with just about every thread on this site.

Here's what I did this morning. I got up around 10:30. Took 2 vitamins, 2 Rolaids, and 2 Aspirin (took 2 last night too).

Drank 20 oz of water and 1 Diet Coke (bought Caffeine Free this time around). Pee'd twice, then drank only about 6 oz. of Gatorade. Pee'd again. (It only took about 2 hours for all of this.)

I waited until I could pee again (about 1:00) - passed with faint line...think I will be okay if I do this -- I hope it won't come back too diluted. I just didn't want to drink a gallon and end up getting tested again (I want to smoke, dammit!).

Also, with all these vitamins, rolaids, aspirin, etc. my stomach is not liking me too well. I just want to know, can I have breakfast??? Or should I wait till afterwards? I have been eating fish the last few days and plan on eating a fat steak the night before the test.

Day 19's passing was probably caused by the fact that cocktails dilute your urine as they can pull more water from the body.

What vitamin are you taking, just B-2 or a multi vitamin? If it is a lab test don't worry about color so you can eliminate the vitamin.

You can eat breakfast. In fact you can have a huge breakfast if you want. Salt is even good in said breakfast.

As for this morning...do you think it was "diluted" like the cocktail night? It was faint, but there...

Do you think I need MORE fluids to pass? I haven't pee'd since 1:00 when I did the test...gotta pee again tho.

Does mixing salt with the gatorade help? I also plan on stopping by McD's in the morning for a YUMMY Sausage McMuffin with Egg. Good idea? '


Also, one more question....how long before should I stop drinking? Does it make it worse, better? I am not an alcoholic or anything...but just got asked by some friends to watch some baseball at the local bar. Its Sunday!!

No you should test with the first void of the day because it is not dilute unless you drank a bunch of fluids before you went to sleep (I mean a BUNCH) or tied one on the night before.

Ditch the complex but if it makes you feel better, you can go with pure B-2 and that will give you color and be easier on your stomach.

You can add salt to your sports drink if you want, like a 1/4 teaspoonful for each 8 ounces.

Enjoy your McDonalds.

Try to make your last favorite beverage while watching baseball 12-20 hours before the test.

Ok....now I am confused.....

I thought the 1st void of the day is the dirtiest....I am not to sure if I want to waste a $15 test (I don't have time to order the cheaper ones..) on something that know will be positive...it was just a couple days ago (granted it was at 4PM, but probably only the 3rd void of the day). I normally do NOT drink a lot of fluids, especially water... I am just wondering that what I drank this morning you would consider to be too much...that I will end up with a retest. Which you said they may not retest?

Thats why he wanted you to test the first piss of the day.If you pass that then your chances are a lot better of passing during the day.
I would pickup some quickfix and pratice with that too.if you only have 1 test strip left save it for the morning of the test.If you test dirty then go with the quickfix.

I would go with the quick fix, but unfortunately, I also have to go through a medical exam before the test. Besides, I just can't handle the pressure. Since I know that the method I did works for a faint line or a "pass", I guess I will just take my chances with dilution and following IamN2Pot's rules. Hopefully I won't have to retest (guess I will just have to wait another week before I can smoke again.)

Yeah Killerweed is exactly right. If you pass the first void that is a better gauge because it is the worst case scenario. You're not going to get up and rush to the center to give them that first void are you? So if you pass that and most of the time your subsequent voids will not be as dirty, isn't that a good sign if you pass the dirtiest void?

I thought I had done that....on the 21st day (it was mid afternoon with barely any liquids that day -- i FAILED!!). I guess I will go out and spend another 30 bucks on two more tests though...anything to get the job.

No of course I won't run and give them my first void of the day....just thought that what I did this morning was a trial run and passed. I didn't drink as much as the sticky said, just wondering if I could get away with this mild dilution as it seemed to work this morning...

What can you do???
