Okayyy..
so my eyes are normally green/blue..
but recently when I smoke pot, they turn bright yellow. They've been described as "lizard eyes" and it looks like I'm wearing glowing contacts... does anybody know what the hell is up with that??

that's pretty crazy. i'd say maybe you should ask a doc...but i don't really think it's wise to tell your doctor that you're smoking weed lol
Why not? Then they have more information to tell you what might be wrong. It's not like a doctor is going to call the cops. After all, that would be breaking the law, as there is a patient-doctor privacy law.Quote:

My eyes are normally gray, but they change depending on what colors are around me. Typically they only become blue or green, but oddly they can change to weird colors sometimes like a faint purple. Anyone else have eyes like that too? (This is when I'm sober and not stoned, my sister also oddly has the same type of eyes.)

Not that uncommon, especially amoung people who have eyes that change normally.
My eyes go to a really deep dark blue when I am truely stoned. Which has lead to some interesting conversations with chicks at parties that dont know me. Everyone loves sexy blue eyes I guess.
But yeah, if you are worried, speak with a dr about it. Dont worry about mentioning you smoke, dr patient confidentiality covers you. In fact, if you have a regular doctor you visit, he/she should already know every drug you have ever did and are currently doing, as they need that information to help with diagnoses and perscriptions. You are altering the chemical reactions that happen naturally in your body by taking drugs, and a Dr needs to know about this to help him/her properly remedy your problems.
well when u find out can u post it? this happens to me too. mine used to be black when i was a kid, turned dark brown and now when i smoke their a grayish/green wtf??

My eyes change color...in the sun they get more yellow and normally they are bright green.
My eyes kinda reflect off the colors....but whenever i smoke my pupils get very very small.
For me it is not the color that changes, it's the size. They get smaller, and smaller...

You must have hazel eyes and when you smoke your pupils dilate and expose only the outer part of the iris. Hazel eyes can sometimes produce a multi colored iris with light brown being nearest to the pupil, and dark brown/amber/dark green on the outer layer of the iris. The color amber is a yellowish golden color that is more common in animals, but often found in humans.
Blue can also occur on the outer part of the iris but it is more rare.
my eyes always change colour too. its pretty cool actually, couse the entire eye turns bright red!
