Does anyone

play FFXI? I've been bored out of my mind lately being at home so much, so I decided to try and find a game to play. I've always been into the mmorpgs, but I can never stay hooked. I make friends, lose friends, lose interest, and finally quit.

So yea, I was just wondering what games you guys play. I'm guessing most of the community will reply with WoW and CS, but it's cool. I've been there done that. I still enjoy playing CS:S stoned every once in a while. Don't be scared, post away! I'd be happy to hear from everyone.

I've never played an online rpg in my life. WOW just doesn't look very fun. I must be wrong because everyone's addicted to it. I played runescape for like a day then lost interest. My favorite game ever though is The Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of Time. Best game ever made.

Try your luck in the games section, but I havent played video games in a looooong long time. Nothing out there that sparks my interest, well atleast not on the Ps2, which is what I have... :(

Oh well, I guess nobodies a mmo fan or pc fan at that. Lol

honestly never fucking play wow you wont stop and you will lose 8 credits your freshman year and have to stay in school for 2 summer schools and 8 extra months

it was created to be so real and interactive people without lives fall in love with it

i had a life before i started playing and looked all cracked out in school and could not function right

all i could think about was wow
its in your head when your not even playing
and it eas fucking money

pleace trust me its not worth the fun it is i know alot of guys that droppeed out of college because of wow

That is really about the way it is though. I go to the Community College here and a guy I was in school with two quarters ago basically pissed his education away because he played WoW so much. He was on it like 72 hours straight once. It is crazy addictive I guess. I have never played it. I only know about it because of South Park. lol

I have played a few of those MMORPG's before, and currently I have been messing around with this alloutwar.org game. They call it a Persistent Browser Based Game now though instead of MMORPG.

I play CS:S, I played wow till level 30 or so and it was just so repetitive. But if u have xfire and down for css add me : esfaction

also if you guys want a cheap fun ass game get Diablo 2 expansion its a great game

but the only problem is blizzard basically ignores the game now because of starcraft and warcraft so basically what i am trying to say is there has not been a patch since aug of 2001

but still yet a great game

i have never played CCS is it a pretty good game

CSS = Counter Strike Source. Sorry for the abbreviation. You can buy it online for like $20 now. Damn good multiplayer game. (It's multiplayer only)

EDIT : I used to be addicited to diablo 2. I had a few lvl 99's then let my account idle for a few months and tried to go back and of course blizzard deleted it. :mad:

I just bought FFXI from ebgames(online.) I was so surprised to find out that everywhere around me and my home town is completely sold out of FFXI. I have the cds, but I don't have my old account info so I have to buy it again. But thats ok because it's only 20$ and it comes with 3 expansions. Great deal.

If anyones interested in playing FFXI, let me know. I'm up to play with everybody and I found a really friendly community, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're really into rpgs. I've always loved final fantasy, and I can't wait to get back into FFXI. About to fire up :jointsmile:
