I'm so tired of reaching into the ounce I just bought and sometimes pulling out like a 1g nug of 'bud' that turns out to just be a bunch of leaves and stems all throughout it with some trichs and red hairs in various places, but the bud as a whole is basicially unsmokable unless you enjoy smoking stems. Do people do this shit on purpose to rip people off or what?! Time to vape..
yeah i hate that shit too, i think people have a seperate bag of bullshit weed that they mix in with their mids or dank or whatever to make it weigh. oh and who is Ron Paul bye the way?

Well, from a seller's standpoint...it makes sense. I know my dealer, who I knew personally, had, sometimes, at least 5 pounds of bud. Did he want to go through it and search for said "nuggs" and take them out, subtracting both weight and his own personal time? No, not ever.
And really...would you want to??
this happens from time to time, less often when dealing with dank and with mature adult salesman or women...in my younger years i found that although the quality of the herb may be the same as im getting now...the quality of the bags im getting now are better....and VOTE FOR RON PAUL !!!

Unfortunetely I don't get bud directly from a grower, but just from people I know can get me an ounce of bud when I want (I don't know where it comes from). Sometimes it's all legit but sometimes a few chunks of bud will be like this and it's really gay..
Another problem: do you people buying like half to full ounces of bud weigh it everytime? Sometimes when I weigh the ounce it's like 3g short but I just figure there's some kind of weight mistake somewhere either in their or my scale, but from a dealers standpoint, I'm sure they're just taking 3g out to make like $45 off it? They know when you're looking at your ounce you probably won't care about a couple grams.. or I usually don't anyways, would you complain?
edit: this is like $300-$350/o bud I'm talking about.

Even when buying an ounce, You still have time to run your fingers across the bag and study the density/smell/look.
If the dealers doesnt let you check the buds than get another dealer. If the guy is straight he would be proud to show you the buds before you buy.

If I bough an Oz which was 3 GRAMS under, I would phone the person I got it off back up and tell them. Go back and get it or if thats no possible (because they won't give it to you), ATLEAST let them know you know you have been ripped.
You should be getting 28g's for an Oz. If I'm buying anything over a half I don't mind giving a 0.2/0.3 leeway because I know it's a right bitch trying to get it exact on smaller scales.

I despise dickhead dealers who underweigh bags because that's what they are imo. I can't fucking stand these people who try and shot 8ths at 2.8 or 3.2 or lower, whatever, an 8th is 3.5 you bastard. I have one dealer whos weights are what they should be, that's why i go to him. I would love to be able to get O's weighed at 28.3 or if i could buy a QB, i would fucking LOVE it, but it's unachievable for me right now. I can't wait to move out of London and to the Netherlands because picking up is a fucking hassle sometimes.
If I am going directly to my guy, he always makes me measure it out infront of him so that we both know it weighs right with no problems. I like that.
I agree, if you accept less then what is the exact amount, you are letting yourself get dicked. Sure it might not be a huge amount, but you realize you payed for the full amount, and unless the dealer is taking a few bucks off for the missing amount, you should be getting the full amount.
