hey, i have been smoking for about a year now and have been reading people posts on these forums about how much they pay for their bud.
i live in a suburb of dallas tx. and i have noticed that i pay a ton more for bud the most people on here.
i pay about 15-20 for a gram of just ok stuff and anywere from 25 and up for soom good stuff
i have read people paying 20 for 7 grams is it just were i live or is it like this other places?
$20 for 7g is not going to be anything of good quality. it's most likely to be a 20-sack, which is 7g. 14g is a half-ounce and is about $25 (better to spend $5 more and get twice as much), and an ounce shouldn't run you more than $40-45, tops. keep in mind this is for shwag, dirt weed, mexican brick, brickweed, etc. that's our prices around here in central Texas, anyway.
now, if we're talking hydro (dro) or mids, that's likely $15/g. you should be able to get fucking DANK ASS BUD for $20/g in Dallas. i get it for never greater than $20. one bowl and i'm out. i'm talkin' blueberry sweet, orange kush, heavy duty (my favorite), white russian, etc. those are our Austin prices; i'm sure Dallas is the same or cheaper. i've heard of getting 1/8 dank/chronic from Dallas/Houston for $30-35. that's a good fucking deal in Texas. Austin is kinda dry right now. how's Dallas?
also, never pay more than $25 for bud, no matter the quality. it's a fucking rip.
over here in Jersey i can get a gram of hyro for $10 and shwag is less than that, but a friend of mines goin down to Florida this weekend to pick up a pound of shwag for $100
where i live there are only a couple people that deal and they kinda put what ever price on it they want becuase most people dont want to go to dallas just to get bud.
dont get me wrong its not shit that im getting i was just wondering if i was over paying
Anywhere the availability is similar to your circumstances the prices are similar. Here in New Jersey an o of high test is between $400 & $500 or $20 a gram.

around here you can get 250-320ish for an ounce of good stuff.

over here in the south suburbs of chicago a 1/8th is $25 , quarter 30, half 60, o is 120 of some MIDS, And O of some good dro is about 175-190
I'm in the North Dallas suburbs, and I got a 1/2 ounce good mids for 100.
Prices can vary HUGE amount just depending on who you buy from. You gotta have a friend....
I live up in northern MA, US, and here my rate has always been 1.8g of decent hydro for $10.00, that's not too bad, it's not the best weed around, but it's not brick, either.
Those prices sound outrageous, Knumb. Move outta there!

I'm about 20 miles west of St. Louis and it seems like prices aren't that great out here. Unless you go to the city (no thanks) then you gotta pay a hefty markup for the bud that gets moved in to the 'burbs. I always buy from people I know are reliable instead of trying to find the best value. Also, most of the people around here smoke schwag and have no idea what good marijuana is.
Mids:
1/8 - $30
1/4 - $50
1/2 - $80
1/1 - $140
KB isn't hard to come by, but nobody smokes it and will normally run about $50 an eighth.
I pay around $35-40 a 1/4 for solid mids. $100-135 for an Ounce, depending on who I go through. The $100 an O is lower quality then the $135 stuff. Sensimilia(sp) goes for about $60 per 1/8th.
humbodlt i appreciate what ur trying to say here...but you have to remember that humboldt county happens to be the mecca of marijuana in the united states...ive been there and seen it with my own eyes, herb is easy to get and thats why there is a constant influx of good dank weed in SF, Oaktown, Sacramento etc.because Humboldt County and the surrounding towns...Obviously with all the outdoor growth there you guys are pulling off literally tons of dank buds every fall...which will in turn bring the prices of the smoke down in that area...basic supply and demand you have going on...thats why in the Northeastern part the US its going to be more expensive than says Northern California...Quote:

Haha, wow up here in BC, Canada we get like 10 bucks a gram for blueberry and lemon kush and northern lights about 30 for an 8th 50 for a quarter 80 for a half and about 125-150 for an ounce of the good shit, like i mean couchlock you aint going nowhere or your so lost in your own dreams you forget to breath haha. Oh how i love the second marijuana capital of the world :P
im in michigan and i get a ounce for $90. it's some pretty good mids. an ounce of real good stuff runs me like $130-135 though, depending on if he wants gas money or not.
Funnly enough Weed in Ireland can get 300euro per Oz so in Dollars it ant much off a difference....aldo we dont expect dealers to be so specific on Strains.....
So unless you got a mate in Canada you not getting it any cheaper..

I live in a rural town in Maine, and I usually pay as follows for decent bud, what I assume everyone refers to as mids.
1 g- $10
1/8-$25-30
1/4-$45-60
1/2-$70-90
1 OZ.- $100-$230
Granted, I've never smoked weed that wasn't from this area. Highs run about $40 an 1/8. I've been told the average weed up here is pretty good, but I have no real frame of reference.
I can get a gram of good haze for $20.
when im in a rush and just wanna get high i buy nicks ($5 worth) of regs (mids), which usually are packed with about a dime and a half's worth of weed.
a quarter of regs for $35.
an ounce of extremely dank haze from california costs $500.
an ounce of good dro goes for $250.
i live near new york city.
I've never paid less than 50 for an eighth of quality bud. It's about 90-100 for a quarter, about 160-200 for a half O and an ounce runs 300-400 bucks.
here in gwinnett, georgia, i can get exotics like jack herrer, pinapple haze, blue dragon, kush, appocolypte gold, headies, etc. and usually the best ones like blue dragon and pinapple run for about 30 a gram sometimes less, but u can get a quarter for 150
Around here its anywhere from $30 an eighth for ok bud and going all the way up to $60 for headies, quarter is usually $50-$80, and I'm not really sure what halves and o's go for since I never buy them.

I concur with this post (except for the dry part :jointsmile:). In the Austin area (and most of TX) expect to pay $20-25 a gram (60-70 an eighth) for exotic strains. A LOT of people pay $60 an eighth for beaster-quality bud as well. Demand is so high in Austin, prices are pretty damned high. I'd also never pay more than $25 a gram.Quote:
