ok ive seen all the anti drug commercials that say youll wreck if you drive while stoned and all that shit, but is it true? i mean ive seen people on here say that your more alert to cops so your more alert all together but... alcohol a legal substance numbs your senses and kills soooo many people a year, i know people that have died and my own sister almost died one time drunk and its very sad about my friends.
any comments about the effects on driving?

i drive stoned all the time. its a long drive from my house to chicago(upwards of 90 mins) so i play some sublime and smoke a few bowls. I am super alert to all cops. ive memorized the light configuration of all police vehicles, and i drive at a certian pace so that i know whose around me at all times.
i always drive high. everyday. driving smacked is the best thing ever. so fun. turn the cd up and bump some rap and hit a blunt. you get so smacked.
when i drive high i just drive slower than i usually do. i say use personal judgement when driving stoned if your a new smoker or consume a huge amount of weed id advice keeping your driving on side streets, or dont drive, everyone drives differentlty stoned.
driving while high is an incredibly good idea. i try to go as slow as possible. and doing cocaine and driving is not a bad idea either, i have been doing it all weekend. i stronly suggest you drive on cocaine.

Driving on Amphetamine is cool..and surprisingly, I drive with more care and attention whilst on speed, than I do with anything else :confused:..no aggression or anything...just extremely loved-up lol
Driving on pills (Es) is a bit dodgy...there was this one time....
I had just scored 5 "Mitsubishis" (a pill with old skool properties ;)...) and misjudged how long it would take to 'come up' on it...I decided to pull into a lay-by and try to work out which of the 7 roads that I was seeing was the real one..not good lol
Man, those Mitsys kicked ass...but chems, man...they can be a bit of a gamble, init!
I don't do chems anymore..except the odd line of charlie, if I'm lucky enough...best to just stick to the weed and solids, I think :)
I remember being absolutely bolloxed on weed, and I had to reverse my artic into a very tight delivery yard, blind-side, down hill, and inbetween two houses...sheesh...looked at it and thought to myself "I'd be lucky to get in there even if I wasn't blazed..."
I plopped the fecker in there on the first attempt...a perfect maneuver!
I was dead chuffed!
I even commented to the warehouse bloke - "Did ya see that bit of driving man!!"
He didn't appreciate the skill, I think...
I grabbed him by the lapels....

Im American and I can barely understand a damn thing these Brits type .... (A story about parking a car while stoned and asking some guy if he liked the driving?) Back to the Post: I always drive stoned I don't think it affects me that much at all the only bad thing is that I feel like I have ADD and I will stare at something out the window and forget im driving for a minute so I have to remember to look at the road once and a while.
Personally I never do, but that's just me being over cautious. I'd be terrified that if something awful happened ( like I hit someone :eek: ) I'd never know for sure whether it could've been avoided had I been straight :(
I've done it in the past but I don't do it anymore. For me, I tend to concentrate too hard on everything else around me and not the road. Like, "Oh, wow, the snow covered trees are soooo pretty...." OOOOOPS, I'm on the other side of the road and here comes a semi!!!!
ive driven on every drug ive done... thats probably not something to be proud of but they were desperate times. smoking high on the other hand, i do it all the time. people have told me im better driving high cause i dont speed lol who knows
its different for every1 though, one friend of mine is a TERRIBLE stoned driver

just be careful what you drive on... i was driving coked up, drunk and stoned one night (i had to) and i went through a stop sign, copped pulled me over and let me go with a warning. alls i have to say is i was DAMN LUCKY
im a commuter so i drive to school stoned everyday, and i usually pretend that im in the delorean from back to the future.
driving a 1976 camaro after a blunt and 2 bowls of exotic has its 120 mph perks and its paranoid owners downsides...but for the driver (me) its all fun!

I drive high sometimes. I usually get stuck doing it when I'm smoking with friends (although a few more have gotten there licenses and cars so its getting a lot better now). IMO its a waste of a good high becasue you have to concentrate your energy on driving it's much better to sit back and relax when your high.
me too, crack makes you drive really good, i drove at times when i was so drunk i could barely walk to the car, and when on dxm at night and seeing red lines floating towards me, weed just makes me go a little slower.Quote:
