I saw that, and immediately prepared for the onslaught of dumb blonde jokes I'd be hearing the next day from everyone I know... Damn that mentally challenged pageant chick for setting blondes back about 10000000 IQ points!!!!

This makes me ashamed to say that I once lived in South Carolina, though she is quite true of the majority of teenage girls in the Upstate/Capital/Low Country.

I can believe it. And I think she's happy. Maybe she had 4 - 6 minutes of sadness and regret over that incident once someone explained it to her. I suspect her pageant coach probably suffered a bit more depression. But somehow I think Miss South Carolina has managed to overcome it.
