So pissed off to hear grand theft auto IV is only coming out for the Xbox 360.

Well apparently according to this and other sources its only coming out for the 360, your either a playstation man or a xbox man The xbox 360 is ok but I definately prefer the playstation I thought this game would be coming out for the ps3 and I dont want to have to buy a 360 just so I can play this game that i've been waiting so long for, does anyknow know for sure which consoles its supposed to be released on?

No offence to any Xbox fans out there but everyone knows the playstation has always been in the lead out of all the game consoles and when the Xbox was released the ps3 release date was postpones so they could make it even better and all games used to come out for the playstation first and then the xbox :(

Also Rockstar dropped the ball a little causing a bit of delay for the 360 version, but Microsoft representatives don't seem angry about the delay at all for some reason ot another.

Sony has never really impressed me. The Xbox 360 is my console of choice right now. I may purchase a PS3 in the future, but not in the very near future. ;)

u know i like all gaming machines, and as bad as i'd like to like ps3 it still just does'nt compare to the 360, and xboxlive no where close yes ps3 has blueray, but untill some damn good games start coming out for it i won't buy one. i mean just about every game thats on the ps3 is on 360, and xboxlive surpasses ps3 all the way around, and i will say i think anyways the ps3 graffix is a tad bit better but the load times are still just crazy long, and it makes no sense i played vf5 at my friends and just to play it took forever with all the loading it's like every round has to load for ever...but when they start getting better games i'll get one i always get every system i know when tekken6 or whatever comes out i will for sure get one thats the best fightin game ever

you're kidding right? my games load fast, about the same that games on ps2 loaded (i've actually done the experimentation with god of war 2, i've beat it on my ps3, and then when we went on our trip i took my ps2 cuz i wans't about to risk my baby...but the loading times on ps2 for god of war 2 were ridiculous....) but yeah that says alot, considering next gen games are actually utilizing alot more data then ps2 (or last gen) games did...

and on resistance, i can go from the system completely off to being in a match and playing it (factoring in the game has to gather players to start a match, after you log on to online) in 2 minutes or less...

what games are you talking about that have huge load times(other then VF)? i've only had the chance to play 5 diffrent games thus far (the darkness, resistance, blazing angels, motorstorm, and full auto 2) and none had ridiculous load times, it was instantaneous, but i was never like "hurry the hell up and load" (and considering i'm a very impatient person, that's pretty good :p)

as for the remainder of your post, look for getting one by mid 2008, or near the end of 2008, there's a whole shitload of great games coming out BEFORE summer 2008, and there are alot more titles slated that i haven't had the chance of finding out any factual info on, other then it's name and projected release date. i'm sure a few of those will be great as well...

look up gameplay of MGS4 (there's one sorta indepth video that i know of so far, and the graphics are amazing, and it's not just another generic MGS with souped up graphics either....

end war, if it holds up (graphicly and with gameplay) will be THE game to put all fps's to shame, it's coming out for 360 as well tho

killzone 2 is supposed to be taking a more realistic fight style, which is a huge step forward if you've played the old killzone (it was extremely generic... no cars, no jumping, about 10 weapons or so to choose from, and a handful of maps) still great online gameplay tho if you can manage to find a room that isn't an explosive-whore room, unfortunately these days tho, (or last i chekced) it's FILLED with glitchers.

blazing angels series is sweet, atleast to me.. i was glued to that game for days straight (out of the five games i mentioned, it was actually the game i played hte most when i first got my ps3) and it's coming out with a new installation

army of two sounds to be a very promising co-op type game...

assasssin's creed... i can only say, will probably be one of the top games for the next couple of years atleast... (and if it goes to series one of the most popular series for years upon years to come, there's no doubt that will be a truely awesome game)

I dont think the halo games are "godly". the plot is lacking and the missions can be long and tedious. but that being said I still have a hell of a lot of fun doing co-op on halo. gears of war is pretty awseome. but bioshock, definitley is the best game since half life 2. but anyway fps are much better on PC which pwns 360 and ps3

and PR, someone wants to sell you a ps3 for 250?? are you sure there's not something wrong with it? i mean unless he bought it recently, he paid 600 bucks for it... i don't see any logical reason for someone to sell it for less than half of what they paid for it unless there's something wrong with it...

but if it is fine, shit i'd take it, hell i'd buy it now even tho i have a 60 gig of my own.... probably sell it on craigslist or something for 50+ dollar profit.

yea it's a friend i grew up with and he got it as trade with sum oz's of dro i don't know the whole story but he's not that into games like i am so he bought motostorm and said he did'nt like it and wants to sell it to me so he can put down on a boat he wants so i might get it but i was kindda waiting for the newer ps3 to come out.or atleast i thought i read sumwhere that a better one was coming out like the black 360 did with 120gigs in it??either way i might get it.

no it's not really better, the newer models won't have the EE chip, which means less backwards compatibility... not sure of the exact numbers but instead of like a 98% backwards compatibility it'll be down in the low 80's... (until sony puts out the updates for it, incaes you don't know backwards compatibility = meaning you can play ps2 and ps1 games on the ps3)

other then that it's just gonna have an 80 gig harddrive and come with motorstorm, for 600.... while motor storm is a great game, i don't really think motorstorm and an extra 20 gigs is worth it really...

i mean you can just buy the 20 gig and if you need a bigger harddrive you can put in your own... i posted it somewhere else..

i mean there's an 80 gig harddrive for less than 40...

a 20 gig ps3 is like 450, so for 490 you can have yourself an 80 gig, then if you add in the other aspect of the premium(motorstorm), it comes out to 540, rather then 600....

but yeah the new higher end model is only gonna not have the EE chip (not sure why) 80 gigs and motorstorm.

having said that, i don't really care how many people own a 360, or any product for that matter, just because more people own something does not make it the best in it's line...

well i will say this, the reason people keep buying the 360 even though it has a 33% fail rate is because it's still a damn good machine. over say xbox iv's had 2 so far break on me and i keep all my stuff in mint cond. and i stoped playing the system altogether for about 6 mo because of the lag on xbox live but after they worked out all the kinks now it works great.and for me i love all the systems, as i love games i don't care who makes it iv'e always bought every system that comes out. sum at launch and to be honest the ps3 was the only one i have'nt pre ordered for launch pick up, i was gonna but ebgames fucked me over, + the weak launch titles that it had. so i was'nt like i have to have this now like all the others and the price was'nt a big deal for me. i still don't think it's alot of money for it as i remember my mom paying 50 bucks a game for atari games, and i remember paying 500 myself for a dreamcast at launch. well just about every system thats came out has been 400 or higher so 600 for all u get+bluray+ 60 gigs it's not high at all. i also remember paying 70+ per game for dreamcast games when it first came out. the only reason i don't have one is the lack of games and if it was'nt for rb6 i would'nt have bought a 360 at launch, as it had shit for launch titles as well. but i was so tired of xbox and the 360 was the first "next gen system" with bad ass graffix i was'nt gonna let that pass me by lol

My only take on it is that I just bought an XBox 360 Elite about 2 or 2 and a half months ago ONLY because it was 100 dollars cheaper than the best PS3 out, at the time. I've found now that the price of the PS3 is 500 dollars, the version I want, at least. So, I'm selling my XBox 360 for everything I paid for it to a friend on Saturday. The same day, I plan to go and pick up a PS3. I still have NO idea as to what games I should buy, but I want a PS3.

I've been with Sony since 1996, and even though I think the price was fucking LUDICROUS, I still think that Sony has the best machine simply because of the exclusives. In today's world, almost EVERYTHING is multi-platform. So, a platform has to stand exclusively on...well...its exclusives. I've never liked Halo, and any other game that is exclusive to XBox 360 is either not for me, or similar games can be found on the PS3.

I fucking hate Sony, only because a fucking billionaire company has to charge 600 bucks for a home console is absolutely ridiculous. In NO way does sony have to price them so high to make profit, which is why I'm glad they've lowered the price.

Go all games, because both consoles SUCK!

while i do agree, you do have to take in account it has a BluRay player, which contributes alot to the price.... just look up how much a stand alone bluray player really is... :p
