I think it is a male. Look at the site above and compare.
Calm yourself...that's just new sidegrowth popping out.
how long into flowering is it?
the moon is Cool!
yep 100% males! That is not side growth at all and if I were you I would take them out of my grow room immediately. I hope that is not your entire crop. If so, that is a bummer. Sorry to be the one delivering the bad news
Damn Elway is absolutely right.....I am an idiot.....sorry for the poor info. :( don't know where I brain farted there....
Hey everyone. Thanks for the replys. They are almost done with week 1 of 12/12 and are a total of 7 weeks old. It's not the my whole crop but my favorite 2. bummer :( So i should get them away from the others asap?
Yes or you will end up with seeded females and the potency of your plants will be affected. If you can, spray the male down very gently with water before you remove him (carefully) from the babes to avoid dropping any possible pollen from the male. .
He/she can still continue on and smoke 'em eventually or at least make it into hash though right? I mean are males a total waste of time? (no offense to actual males on the board just a gen'l question about weed ;) ) lol
Only the females grow the buds that we all love so much. He's got another 7 weeks or so before his plants will be ready so the males don't really do anything great unless you are breeding. I personally will use the males for cooking....they will get you up there but you need ALOT.....abot 3 times as much as you would use of good bud.....to get the same effect since there are very few "trichomes" (the cool things that hold all the thc and cannaboids) on male plants and even on the females they don't start piling up trichs till the end.
If the male succeeds in pollinating his females they will turn their energy to making seeds and stop putting out the resin that is the CHIT.:D That's why "sinsemilla"' (seedless) buds are the most potent. :)
omg thank you!!! I've always wondered why everyone thinks that the girls are da bomb (other than the obvious ;) )!!! lolQuote:

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'm gonna take care of the males tonight and post some final pics of them in my grow log

Happened sometime between 5am and 11pm today so thay havent been emerged for very long now. Hope these pics help anyone trying to sex their plants.
