Initially I usually begin feeling increasingly stoned (though i usually smoke before I take it or right afterwards) there is just something there that usually isn't with weed alone. My vision begins to distort, my throat feels non-existant so to speak. I begin to feel drunk and stoned, but im not exactly sure if it is better or worse. Usually I get nauseaous and puke (you may not)...then I feel what words could only describe as "fucked up"...I sit in a dark room, communication is difficult because I really don't know what the hell is going on around me...music does sound a bit better on DXM. As the trip fades my mind becomes clearer, though visual and cognative impairment are still present. It is hard to read text and walk without stumbling just a little.
I go to bed still feeling out of it, get decent sleep and wake up in morning...still feeling out of it. Then I smoke a bowl and feel great.
i posted this somewhere else on this board, but with a little copy and paste here it is:
a dxm trip tottaly depends on dose. heres mine:
350mg.- slight drunk and stoned feeling
480mg.- pretty messed up, feeling real drunk with no negative side effects of alcohol such as loss of motor control, head ach, or hangover. also some psycedelic feelings such as slight time and space distortions.
708mg.-tottaly psycedelic at this level. time seems to stand still, size distortions occur, disaccociation occurs, out of body experiences, you enter a dream like state.
1100mg.- 100% disaccociation happens, total mental calmness followed by a dream like feel.
i however built up a tolerance to dxm so it may take less to effect other people.
remember around 2000mg. is reaching the leathal doses.
ya i dont think im gunna try it it just doesnt sound worth downing a bottle of nasty shit to get drunk or maybe i just dont understand exactly waht ur saying because im very well baked as of right now so im gunna go explore the world wide web now

^low doses are like being drunk and stoned at the same time, high doses are like special k, it disacociates your mind from your body, you have crazy ass thoughts, and closed eye visuals.
i tried chuggin my first bottle of tussin (wal-tussin from wal greens) i used to do ccc's but had to quit....i ended up puking and felt like i was coming down off dex for the next two days....couldn't really eat or drink anything....all i did really was sleep....not a fun experience.....unless i can get dex alone i ain't trying it again.....i guess my stomach just can't handle all the dyes and stuff....most people can but some can't.

Damn lol you chugged the whole thing with other shit present besides Dextromorphan?? If you did your lucky you didn't die lol, I bet your stomache got a bad effect from that. Only do the DXM only robo. And as far as puking goes..try the pills, taste better and no nasusea.
my stomaches made of iron, i could chug a 40oz of tussin and not puke.

last time i did it it was a normal size bottle of robotussin, after i drank it down i felt like i had a shot or 2 of tequila, but i was very tired wen i tried it, so i lied down on the couch for a while, when i woke back up my stomach was killing me and i was seeing double and also having sum wierd out of body experience, we were watching tv, but wen i opened my eyes i got a nasty headache and was feeling really naseuos, so i kept on dozing off and waking back up for like 10 hrs, so then my friend took me home went to sleep, woke up and felt a little buzz, like the 2 shots
I have done it probably 20 times...and i get sick everytime...not throwing up but i feel like shit, but when u close ur eyes the trip is just complete out of body experience...
Whenever I do it, I just sit in my bed in a completely dark room with some music on. OBE is not uncommon. I can't really have the lights on because I get woozy when I sit up.Quote:

i think its fun done in groups, you get closer to the people your tripping with and its fun to share your crazy thoughts with, but i agree its not for partys or clubs. i trip alone in the dark most of the time though.Quote:
