I've always wondered how we could have possibly at some point in time as an entire planet been fooled into basing the number for our year based on a Christian belief. I don't mind using the numbers we have now for reference but I still don't think it is right.
Until I watched a video that explained it all. The real reason we are living in "2007".

What's with all the crazy conspiracy movies that are infecting the web? I'm no fan of Christianity, but people need to realize these kinds of wacky conspiracy theories are no more rational that the irrational belief systems they purport to oppose.

The question I was wondering about for a while is "why now?"
I think it's because of the internet. They need drastic measures to keep themselves in control with the first ever true freedom of speech.
The answer is obvious "why now? why the internet?". WHERE ELSE? Where else would you get information like this from? Ask yourself that. We are at war for no reason with people who had nothing against Americans in general (except their stupidity), and Americans have had enough of it. Political leaders in other countries have even spoken about their neutrality with us yet we are planning to invade them because the public does not pay attention and wars make the rich people running this country even richer. The internet is an open source of information, once we let the government control even this, then we will really be in trouble..
Anyone who does not believe we are in a much larger pile of shit than just "fucking up in Iraq" has clearly not been reading the fine print.
