mites or not
thats not spider mites you have munchin, they dont eat the plant material they suck the juices
but hope you got rid of your pests
thank you ganja
I went out ther last week flourescent green bugs with wings
What are you doing? Epsom salts, vinegar, baking soda, mites.....and then you SMOKED it?
Time for a reality check there.
Im not to sure about your concoction, Im not saying it wont work but some components are too healthy for the plant
3 tabelspoons of Neem Oil , 5 drops of dish soap (to help the oil spread evenly) spray the plants , undersides of leaves in particular
this will take care of most all your insect mould and mildew issues
for a homemade solution
Steep 4 garlic cloves in 1 litre of boiled water for 24 hours. Strain.
Do not dilute add 5-8 drops of dishsoap. Spray on plants, no more than twice a week, this will keep most insects off the plants
Hey Ganja.....are you following me? :D
my neighbor Neem-oiled the hell outta his plants, every few days, just like instructed, etc. ... it never did kill his spider-mite infestation, I think that crap is WAY over-rated ... I hang a No-Pest Strip in the same room as my cabinet, and never had an insect problem ... ever ... been using them for many years ... in fact, it's hanging over my head as I type ... (my damn hair is falling out, makes it hard to see my keyboard :wtf:) ... and, this last crop, I see I have a 'granddaddy-long-legs' spider living in the cabinet, so it must not be overly noxious ... I left him in there, to live, and protect my sweeties :D
P.S. ... your leaves look like they're being chewed on by a grasshopper, that's the way my outdoor plant looks sometimes, and it's a visiting grasshopper
isnt that curious, I had 2 No-Pest Strips hanging and the mites kept coming
the only thing that did work the past 4 times I got mites was Neem Oil, possibly your neighbour didnt use the 70% strenght brand? , the weaker brands arent as effective
Neem oil is a terriffic product ,will dispense with most bug , mould & disease issues...... its safe , it beaks down biologically by exposure to sunlight, wind and humidity with absolutely no adverse effects to the environment. & some neem products can be taken internally, its the number 1 birth controll method in india, it claimed by eastern medicine for centuries to cure hundreds of illness, afflictions , prevents sexually transmitted diseases, bacteria & pests & can be used up to the day of harvest on fruits, & vegtables..........not that Id recomend using anything on your buds the last 3 weeks
I was going to use pro-controll or several other products till I did research of Pyrethrin based products and there are bunches of people getting sick and dying from Pyrethrin based products they claim..... I dont know if there is any validity to this but I do remember they said asbestos was ok aswell
The manufacturers of the Pyrethrin products only say there has been no substantial testing to support any problems with humans and Pyrethrins....but there is a whole lot of people that say thier worng cause they are real sick from Pyrethrins
True Stores of Pesticide Poisoning - it could happen to you
he gave me the leftover bottle, got it right here ... "Green Light" NEEM Concentrate ... 70% clarified Hydrophobic extract of NEEM Oil, 30% inert ingredients ... he is a stickler for researching things, and he carefully sprayed both sides of each individual leaf, etc.,, repeating it every time I turned around ... didn't control the mites ... he lived next door to me, same infested bushes around our houses ... so, I'm stickin' with my old strips ...
no mcfly I dont smoke pesticides or cigs or drink maidens breath moonshine
after I took the picture I smoked it in my dirty one hitter
mof I havent even sprayed em yet!!
whats neem oil?
my friend watered his plants with Jack Daniels [periodically]
goona go spray
pyrethrins are organic, too ... it is made from marigold extract (if you can stand the stink, you can grow a marigold with your plants ... yuk) ... of course, lots of poisons are 'organic', just being organic, doesn't make it safe ... but, pyrethrin-based insecticides break down into basic, harmless elements after 48 hours, and have been safely used for fruits and vegetables for many years ... (I believe that 48 hours is the timetable, it will say on the label) ...
