For me it would be the Bombay Inn, at Lange Leidsedwarsstraat 46, in Amsterdam.
I'd have the butter chicken, and Aloo Ghobi.

I'd go to that sail-ashaped artificial island hotel in Dubei and order the thickest steak they had, medium rare, because if they went to that much trouble to build the thing, the steak has to be perfect. What chef wouldn't want that place on his resume?

There are some really incredible restaurants in my city but if I could go anywhere tomorrow night it might be French Laundry or Sparks Steak House or Picasso.

of chains macaroni garden, carabas or olive garden but my all time fav was a restaurant in va beach where i used to live...its called steinhilbers and it was a steakhouse and everything was a la carte, but everything was cooked to perfection, i would get the 12 oz prime rib (Med. Rare) with a 2x baked potato and we got salads and break also...but all the veggies were grown in their own garden...kinda made things taste cleaner knowing less pesticides and shit were used cuz they claimed it was organic

I have no idea wut is was called, but in Italy (Lake Como - Verano to be exact) there was this resturant right by the farry, most AMAZING dinner i've ever had in my life, I had these meat raviolis that litterally melted in my mouth they were so good. haha that nite i drank two bottels of wine by myself at dinner then went to a bar and i dont rmeber shit for aotu 4-5 hours after that.
but i will never forget that meal, i wana go back sooo bad!

Some little hole-in-the wall Thai place in Madison WI for the BEST preparation of stuffed duckling I have ever had in my life
The blues/BBQ pit near Yeag's old place in Kansas City MO for GREAT BBQ and an even better house blues band
Either Chez Albert in Amherst MA or Del Raye in Northampton MA for their respective unfussy and delicious preparations of hare
Margaritas in Keene NH for their tomatillo and cheese glop that is probably the world's best munchie food for those of us with spicy tastes
The Hangar in Amherst MA for the worlds best nachos (the SMALL size, at not even $6, is 4 inches DEEP on a large pizza pan, with a crock of home-made chili and all the toppings) and a VERY respectable tapline
The Dirty Truth in Northampton MA for their giant pile o' steamed mussels with PEI potatoes- a MAritime feast
Teh Pub Out Back in East Burke VT for their burgers, made with beef from a farm down the street, and available bleeding rare... a rarity in itself.
Tapeo on Newberry in Boston, MA for tapas and crocks of sangria
I could keep going. I am a total food nerd and DESPISE virtually all chain restaurants, Bertuccis being the notable exception, and then, only for the pizza.

Close, red curry with red pepper and basil, in a creamy peanut-thickened sauce, and the crispy roast duck was stuffed with Thai sausage and vermicelli noodles. Teh place was in a small strip-type shopping center with a used bookshop next door as I recall, in the cool hippie part of town.Quote:
