Well, not yet.
Today I go to Minneapolis and stay in some fancy hotel...take my Asvab and piss test and physical (I havent smoked weed in 6 weeks =0! Amazing? I think so.) And then tomorrow I get sworn into the Army National Guard. I am going in as a Hummer/Tank Mechanic...
Im kind of nervous about everything, but I am sure all will go as it should...

Id stay well clear of Iraq untill they have done the counties vote!! Its stilll very much a war zone plus car bombs going off each day :(

I went through basic training. If you think its not gonna suck your wrong. It is gonna suck bad for the first few weeks. The absolute most sleep you will get is 6 hours. Alot of times you will go to bed at 2200 , have a 2 hour watch from 0200-0400, then get up at 0600. If you fuck up the drill sargeants will humiliate you and get the other recruits mad at you as a form of peer pressure. The out of shape fat fucks will have it the worst. So will the idiots and the undisciplined. Prepare to wake up drenched in sweat, with mosquitos biting all the time, and dealing with assholes daily. Then go to Iraq and die or get maimed.
Just as a warning, i hear the military is enrolling to kill of it's people, so that there are more reasources to go around. Kill off the people in wars. I say watch yourself. I'm not sure if your phsyche can withstand the brainwashing. But if this is what youve chosen i wish you the best of luck. And do try and avoid wars is possible.
On another note.... on another plane.
I think there will be a war in china, when it becomes the next world power. in all predictions the united states will be hiting a sharp decline in anywhere form 15-30 years. <--- verry close. A war on china wold be the only way to remain a recognized wold power, and gain profitabliltiy. Watch as the asain countiries slowly become targetted. First it was the middle east, next Asia.
