finger

i smashed my finger today between two cinder blocks...it hurt. i just drilled it out with my dewalt and a 1/16 drill bit....all i have to say is watch your fingers, because that shit fucking hurts.

ya'll should have seen me when i did it....swear words were flowing out of me that would make any sailor blush.

God, I hate when you smash a finger, you never really realise how much you use your fingers.

The worst is when you get it shut it a door, and your finger gets stuck in the door.. ouch!

D'oh! In my jobs as a mechanic and construction worker, smashing my fingers was always about the worst pain I ever felt. By buddy drilled my finger with a phillips bit the other day. That sucks too.

its not too bad now, after i drilled it , it stopped throbbing and being a general pain in the ass...its still a pain in the ass, but not as bad.

Good hope its not too long before your 100% again mate.

Ouch...that sounds painful! When I was younger, I slammed my finger in the car door, and it hurt soooo bad. Not a good feeling:(

I was working on site today. A mate was carrying a redundant boiler down some stairs, he go to the last one and his ankle rolled. He lost his grip on the boiler and it smashed his foot, he was in a lot of pain.

Sounds nasty, does anyone else feel sick and queasy when the hurt their fingers or is it just me. I tend to drill as well but using small drill bit between finger and thumb rather than a Dewalt etc.

I do mate, not as much when it's my own fingers though. But when someone hits their finger or crushes it, I seem to imagine how it would feel and it makes me feel a tad ill.

Its something I've always felt when hurting my fingers even at school when i got the strap I felt sick because it was my fingers, very strange, maybe I'm just weird LOL
