How ever if you got HIV or are dieing, spinal desises or are in hospice care it is cool as far as herb goes cause you can grow your own. I dont think that has been done anywhere in the US yet. Only 4 mature plants and 3 vegy plants but were trying. The only thing that passed this bill was the Governer (althogh the people realy fought for it, and we thought our reps hadd our backs but after the battle got long and close to the end they gave up on us), Hes running for prezz and hes got my vote not cause of the herb but cause hes not a bush and has already done more good for the world and hes not even in a position like bush yet.

today they annoynced the state will not be growing for the people, Does one know how does it work in other states with collectives and clubs and stuff? Does the state supply them or do they issue some one a licens to grow? Here alot of people are pissed cause their will be no where to buy from they still have to go to dealers. And dealers here suck for good herb you have to know the right people and if your sick and outta touch this is very hard and to some impossible. They are still letting us grow but to some one who is sick going into the garden or closet could be hard. And 4 mature plants could be very different in yeild depending on the strain, although I think 2 lbs per light is still possible
Grow your own.Washington your allowed to grow your own but they are still debating how much.Every state we can get to institute the medcinal grows are another nail in the coffin for these peices of shit at the federal level. Eventually prohibition will be gone. The wheels of justice turn slowly.

Don't blame them for being a little leary of producing themselves.They should just allow someone to use the patients right to grow license to grow for them if they're not able to do it themselves.
And then the most IMPORTANT thing.State law officials should be ordered not to cooperate with federal officials in any pot investigation.
I actually think that it's better to let people grow their own instead of have to rely on and pay a government run distributor. They should probably allow more plants though. I wonder if they could just have a patient to patient distribution, where patients who are good at growing can grow for those who aren't, or are too sick to grow, etc.
I had thought about moving there for health; my brother is retiring there, I want to meet ET, etc. But the health rules are so harsh. Maybe in a few years. I also read this testimony by the head of the department at Mississippi U. that grows government weed. He said the cigarettes/joints are made in N.C. by machines, but bud gums up the works, so they only use leaves, thereby the potency of government weed sucks. Given that, growing your own is better anyway.
Oh I blame them they agreed to produce for those who cant produce for them selves, back in January and now they have gotten scared. Our government is soposed to be a leader for the people and have the peoples back. They do not; we the people of NM have run things our way from before it was a state in 1912, and have carried on till the present. This shows the majority of the people running our state are not New Mexicans but out siders who still fear. This could get ugly, in Cali what happens when a grow op gets raided; nothing to serious some fines mabey some jail, here when a grow op gets raided I see peolpe from here fighting for the right, I fear they will come with force as always and we will fight back with force as always. The bill is only for those who are sick and dieing right now but in the future we hope to change the bill for more illnesses what happens when a farmer is raided buy the DEA and he has the option to fight back?? Sick people often can only fight with paper but here even the children are taght when hit you hit back, and when you foe is down you destroy it. I think that the Cali growers pretty much make up their own rules, and just put up with getting busted now and then. There's this famous guy in Berkeley who was growing cannabis for medical patients in his basement, but was also growing or transporting some psychedelic plants, and they supposedly busted him for the psychedelic stuff but not the cannabis. A lot of the ways that law enforcement deals with the laws probably has a lot to do with how the general population (hence juries) feel about the situation. Being peaceful but determined is important, because no matter what the situation, if you injure a federal law enforcement officer, you will be up shit creek or in the next world. I believe that in Cali, even though the growers are busted by federal officials, the State of Cali usually determines if they go to jail, so they don't, at least after all the law crap is over with. So don't worry, New Mexico should be responsible for your safety and welfare.
Our governor sent a letter to Bush sayin he should be more compationet and worrie about meph and haroin and not medical marijuana. He said he wants federal compasion so their are not any trouble about NM growing for the people. This Governer of ours is always impressing me hes running for US prez and not in the state much but he still got our back. I recomend looking up our NM governor Bill Richardson, it might sway your vote prezz in his favor. I know hes got my vote, the biggest resone is he know how to run our country, I think.

I completely agree what does impress me about him is what other leaders of the world think of him. He meet with sadam durring the gulf coflict and no one was killed , he even openly disrespected sadam and did not appologize for it. Also N. Korea will not talk to anyone but him. Other leaders know hes a proven negotioator, and when asked would you sit and talk with Bin Laden his answer was what for we would be put in a room and the whole time we would be trying to kill each other. Hes not affraid to fight but he knows all fights are not physical.

Unfortunately, I worry that soon I will be forced to grow my own because so many co-ops are either being raided, or closing down to avoid future arrests. Meanwhile Riverside County has the worst methamphetamine problem in the US, but who cares, why would a fat lazy cop want to raid a house with highly explosive materials, (that is, protecting the community), when they can raid a business with nothing but peaceful protesters, taking all their money and assets, and wasting away California tax dollars by incarcerating these non-violent heros that are just trying to help the sick.
It's fucking disgusting, fuck the DEA, fuck feds, fuck the entire God damn Bush administration and every other religious extremist that wants to keep people like me from living a healthy life. I hope every single person in this country that is against medical marijuana comes down with a serious condition that makes their life a living hell, but could be treated efficiently with a little bit of bud, then maybe we will see change in this country. Until then, non-violent and sick people like myself that are just trying to keep from dying are going to continue to be harassed because some morons are too ignorant to admit, or research the data that marijuana is not a danger to society.
