i always hear people saying "if everyone in the world smoked weed there would be world wide peace." well lets elaborate on this thought a little bit.
what would happen to the worlds and all its inhabitants?
would things change for the better or worse?
would things just stay the same?
would we as people advance at a quicker or slower rate?
what do you think?
I've thought about this once after a session of mine. I thought of how the world has GONE to shit, true or not, I thought weed coule help better the heart of mankind all over the world. I know when I get high , my first thought is not to go out to cause trouble to another human being, quite the opposite actually. I'd probably be too lazy to do anything becase I'm too busy appreciating the simple things in life to worry about what everyone else is doing.
Then my thoughts went to Why its illegal due to the stereo type of stoners being lazy. because in thiis world of material and over production of such materials EXPECT people to be up off your ass doing things being another machine that in the end is producing money for someone else.

I think every thing would still be the same but probably better attitudes going around about things.
Not everyone can handle smoking weed. I've seen weed ruin many of my close friends. If you have an addictive personality theres a large chance that you will get psychologically addicted to the bud. Just think of what could happen...
I personally think that weed needs to be regulated by the government and should not be given to everyone. Imagine a world where all the presidents are high. Countries would probably also get into fights over weed and ridiculous stuff like that.
a lot more accidents maybe and prob less productivity like civilization i think would have proggressed a bit slower we wouldnt have had computers so early and so on....
I'm also sure that not everyone would smoke weed. I have a lot of friends that have tried it but really don't like it Oh, and if weed is ever legal like this I don't think that it will ever be socially accepting of it's users. The media has twisted people's perceptions so far and I don't think it will ever be normal for people to smoke. Anyone know what I'm trying to say?
If everyone smoked it, there wouldn't be enough to go around.

Depends. Supply and demand is a funny thing. Plus I assume weed would be legal if everyone smoked it. This means there would be a lot more home growers meaning a much much larger supply.Quote:

Legal or regulated, yes...everyone in the world smoking, no. I mean I wouldn't want my surgen or dentist high. Would you? Maybe if it were handled like alcohol. The smarter would get smarter and the dumb would turn to a big pile of stupid. I know that when smart people smoke weed they get better ideas and can use the drug in ways to help people, and to see things in a better light. Then there are those stupid stoner types that ruin maryjanes reputation. Everyone would have more of an open mind, and would hopefully be more accepting, I know weed has done that for me.
I think the world would be more peaceful. Lately i've been thinking about it...and idk if this makes sense. But I really think weed somehow makes you have the mindset of a child.
Honestly, not too many surgeons and dentisits have horrable money problems, but yes smoking does help w/ stress. Like I said though, they could smoke, only not on the job or comming to work high.Quote:

I think it would somewhat help the human mentality, but we'd still have all the war, religious fanaticism, political infighting, and so forth. We're all stoners here, and just one look at the political forums will confirm that we still have widely varrying opinions, outlooks, ideas on how the world should run. I've met a lot of stoners in my lifetime and they come in every shape or form.
Weed is a wonderful substance in that it encourages you to question (at least for me), break away from your conditioned mentality. But it can't totally eliminate mental conditioning, and only plays a small part.
Still, a world full of weed is a better world indeed!:hippy:
There'd be wars waged over weed instead of oil.
But everyone would be too stoned to know who or where their supposed to be fighting, so you'd just see random groups of soldiers going around smoking joints asking people directions to the enemy, but forgetting what they were even supposed to do when they finally find the enemy.
So Military spending would be astronomical, but the world would oddly enough be more peaceful.

To be honest, i think that everyone would be very happy and love each other, however, everyone in the world woudl be hungry and probly eat so much food it woudl just dissapear lol, and too many people would be too lazy to do anything and the world woudl not be a productive place. Lastly, everyone woudl just laugh at each other becuz everything woudl be funny so the world woudl just be some kind of a joke. lol, just my two cents :stoned::stoned:
Man I am getting sick of all this "we'd all just sit around being lazy and be too retarded to know who we're at war with". Give me a break! If you sit on your ass being lazy, getting high all day, that's just because you are a lazy person, and it's easier to sit around getting high. You gotta take some responsibility and not blame your habbits on a plant. All my friends, including myself, smoke tonnes of weed and we work our asses off constantly going through college because we're driven. None of us are retarded from smoking weed, and usually people who get retarded while high just have low tolerances. Either way none of the people I know remain stupid when the high's worn off.
