Im obsessed!

I feel the need to look at my plants every couple minutes that Im home which is always(not working at the moment). I feel like Im watching water trying to boil and its taking forever. I even find myself sitting next to my plants reading or writing on my note pad that I keep a writen journal about my grow. Im unable to smoke right now due to being unemployed at the moment and am still waiting to see where I will be working next before I start smoking or I would be smoking next to them too. I even talk to my plants and play music for them and me. Are any of you like this with your plants?

i used 2 look at my plants inside a bit 2 much but it wears off after a while , i think every 1 did ..:thumbsup:

thats compleatly normal i hope cuz i been growin for awhile and i still find myself sitting starring at my plants not as much as i used to but pretty often

Ya, I agree...it's normal, but I wouldn't smoke around them. I'm not sure why, but I've heard that it's bad for them.

smoke is full of CO2.

But not enough CO2 to even make a difference. You would be better just breathing on them. Plus, smoke also contains fine particulates which I wouldn't think would be good for the leaves. Thats just me, I can't say for sure because I've never tried it.

Any heavy smoke that contains a high amount of residue is not good for the plants. It coats the leaves, and can clog the pores. The top of the leaf is not that big of a deal, its the bottom of the leaf that contains all of the leaves pores. Its not gonna cause them to die right then and there, but still not recommended. And yeah i used to do that to. i think its something we all do, and yes it eventually wares off. One time I fell asleep in the grow room. Lucky for me it was when i was a kid, and it was under flos not HID. :)

Plants don't breathe like people do, so smoke doesn't hurt them. You're doing a lot more damage to yourself than the plants!

I know the feeling of being obsessed with your plants. When I come home from work, they're the first thing I check on. I need to get obsessed with something else, then I can forget about my plants for a week and come back and they'll be huge and covered with buds. :)

Well in the one year that I've grown intensively, I haven't shaken off the tendency to want to stare at them as much as possible. My grow is in my closet, and I'll go into my room to get something unrelated, and end up going right to my grow to get a good stare on. Then i leave the room and totally spaced the original reason I went in there.

everybody does it, lol. it does wear off after a while and i only pay attention to them about every 3 days for watering.

Well I'm not that bad, but to say that I don't care about my plants more than anything else going on in my life is absurd. It feels like they are my children and they're life is very important.

i check on them in the mourning and at night.

But if have nothing else to do, i will give them a good stare, for awhile. They are flowering now and at 7.5 weeks so they are really close. I find myself staring at them longer, checkin the trichs.

At night time when the lights are on, and i go in for a check, when i poke my head out of my closet, even with normal lights on in my room, it like being in pitch black for a min or two while my eyes readjust to the normal light lol.
