Heartache is a bitch..

Alright.. when I was still with my ex we moved in together things were wonderful for a while but we broke up. Unfortunately neither of us moved out, we both wanted to stay cause of the cheap rent and how close it is to our jobs. We wound up both staying but still broken up. It's been a few months and we've both decided that one of us has to leave. It's me, and I know it's for the better but I still don't want to do it. I have to realize that hes poison, it's been nothing but mind fucks and having my heart broken over and over again. I still love him but it is a unrequited love. :( Advice anyone? Please? :(

You just need to leave. I've had the same issue, but it was more fucked up, my ex told me he loved me, and I asked him a week later if he loved me, he said no. At least yours is a bit less heartbreaking. You need to realize that you can still love him, you just aren't commited to him anymore. It's okay to not be or get over it. But just remember, he'll always be there, but those emotions won't. It's hard, but you just need to put your focus on something else.

not that it makes the pain any less, but at least he was an ass by the sound of it. Its much harder when the person you love like no other is nice and still doesnt want you. I had a bf who was the sweetest, nicest, most considerate, wonderful man (with the biggest penis I ever enjoyed and knew how to use it). he didn't love me even though i was like, ready to have his beautiful blond babies ( and ive never wanted children) and he was extremely wonderful to me in every way possible. When he told me he didnt want to be with me he cried, i cried, it was a wet slobbery mess. To this day, SEVEN years later not a day goes by that I don't cry over him, I don't curse the day we met, don't wish I could forget about him, don't wish we'd never met. I'm a go cry and smoke a big bowl.

I had a best freind go through that same situation... she and her roomate were going together really seriously for a while, then they broke up and lived together for a while still, the tension and akwardness eventually turned into lots of arguments... it's gonna be hard, but you need to leave. but i promise, when you do that and find somewhere else, you'll be a lot happier

Yeah it does hurt. I usually would just cry it all out then find things to do to occupy my mind from the sadness that takes over. I learned somewhere, you will start to think of the person less and less each day until one day it wont hurt when you do think of thise person.

He constantly fluctuates between asshole and doting best friend. I was being used physically and emotionally. One day we would be having the best times of our lives then the next hes completely ignoring me. It hurts so fucking bad.

You can come crash at my place, just bring a big bag of pot!

Guys.. I really don't want to go. Am I crazy?

Ok, i agree with granny completely... except the worship you thing... that isn't healthy, but it can be theraputic.

Are you crazy... yes and no... yes because you are prolonging, your pain, and the healing process... no because it is natural to feel that way... hell you are also losing a place to live. (which btw, i feel it is retarded to live with someone if you haven't been with them for like 5 years)

But as a woman, you know you already have guys at your disposal... and you have a variety to pick from. that should help console you a little bit... but heartbreak is one of the most powerful situations in the world... it can affect us so dramatically, both physically and mentally... you will be alright... just do what is healthy and its all good. tell him his penis was too small anyways :D (if you were a guy i would tell you to say she was fat anyways)
