First time closet Grow!

I have a grow log going in the grow log section, but i want to start a new one here because for some reason the file attachment option is not available whenever i make a post over there, so i can't post photos well. anyways, i am growing in a small closet, about 2x2x5. i am using a 400 watt hps, and i am venting into my attic with a nice elicent inline fan. right now i have a beautiful female plant that is about 10'' tall and it's been on 12/12 for about 2 weeks. i'm also growing two little seedlings and 3 pepper plant seedlings in the closet. i'm using locally made soil and nutes that i got from my local hydro shop(these guys are genuises!). the strain i am growing is hazy daze from dutchbreed.com. anyways, i welcome all comments and advice, i'm still new at all of this so i'm trying to absorb a lot. enjoy!!

thanks man. yeah i definitely put her into flower early, but i wanted to make sure i didn't outgrow my area. i have only 5 ft of height, and i'm using an HID, so i can't have a plant that is too tall. don't want to burn her!:)

things are going pretty well for my girl. it has been about 3 weeks on 12/12, and just over a week since it started showing flowers. the buds are already looking pretty damn tasty! i really want to clip off a bud to sample, but i don't think i will. surprisingly, the buds aren't too stinky yet, which is nice since i don't have the money for a carbon filter right now. no major problems or issues to report. although i am a little concerned about my container size. i know i probably need a larger container, but i am afraid if i transplant to a larger container, i will stress my beautiful budding plant. what do you guys think? oh yeah, the other pics are of another little MJ plant and my pepper plants. i can't wait for some fresh homegrown peppers!:D let me hear some feedback!

Hello. Would you mind posting pictures of how you're ventilating? In the past, I used CFLs so never had an issue with ventilation, but I plan on purchasing a 400watt HPS and will need to. I am growing in a closet as well, so don't want to mess with ducting, etc... I just want to either vent into the attic or the sides of my closet which just leads into the walls of the house as one side of my closet is the edge of my house, and the other is the hallway, so it would be moving air into in between the walls I assume. I plan on getting a inline duct fan. Would that work?

hi horror...i use a 4" elicent inline fan to ventilate my closet. i got it used from the local hydro store for only 80 bucks, and those things are like 200 bucks new! it works pretty damn good. i have it place about 2 feet about my light, and it is venting into a hole i cut into the ceiling. before i got the fan and started venting into the ceiling, my temps were in the mid to high 90's. now they never get over 85 even when it's hot outside and in my place. i also have a small desktop fan blowing from the ground up towards my light. the photo is looking up at my ghetto, but effective ventilation system (photo looks weird because i had to tweek it a bit in photoshop to lighten the shadows). good luck!

I'm getting very excited about my upcoming harvest. according to the seed company, my strain should be mature in about 2 weeks from now. i have been checking trichomes, and i think some are begining to look a bit cloudy, but i'm still not too sure. i don't want to harvest too early and then not get high off of my beautiful plant. i don't think my harvest is going to be too much, but i don't really care. i just wanted to have fun and watch my girl grow! here are some pics i shot today!

the girl has been flushed, and she is going to be harvested in just days!! she is really swelling up, and the buds are getting very sticky!! i can't wait!!

Hey dude, havent logged on in a while but that plant looked so delicious, i think i would have waited another week or so to let it mature?, maybe idk, thats just what i would have done. But what do i know im hi:D Really Nice though, how much she wiegh out to?

i'm really happy for you! there's a quote in my language and the transliteration would be "the fruit of patience is always sweet".. so i'm sure you're buzzing off of those sweet fruits after being so patient. good luck with more planting buddy.
