Hm, depends what you mean by trouble.
I was a goody two shoes who rebelled against my parents by doing the thing I knew they hated most, which was not doing my homework. Other kids rebelled by drinking beer and smoking cigarettes and shoplifting... I was getting grounded for having not enough As on my report card, lol.
So if you asked my mom, she would shake her head and tell you I was 'difficult'.
trouble = getting grounded all the time, doing stuff you look back on now as being 'bad' getting the cops called on you etc... real trouble not... "i'm not doing my homework" :p
i was terribly average. i wasnt really bad but then again i could have been a better child. it all depends on how you wanna judge i guess.
wow... so far i'm the only one to vote satan.... o.0 i was a horrible rotten kid... =/ i regret it now too... most of the police force knows me by name :(
I was definetly a handfull...wild as hell;)
Glad I got it out of my system when I was younger because I'm kinda boring now that I'm in my 20's.
I was an average kid, did get into the run in with the cops a few times. I never got in trouble, but I was a terrible disturbed child with horrible thoughts. Not like, oh, I wish my parents were dead, things that could script a horror movie. I still have some of those thoughts, but that made my childhood horrible.
The only reason I didnt put satan is avoided getting caught. But yeah, I was a pretty bad kid. I did some stuff I could have regreted, but I like to live with out regrets, and I gotta admit it was fun at the time!
I was a smart alec and a back-talking handful. There's a big surprise! Did great in school but I was compelled to push the limits at home. The "strong-willed child," I've seen it termed in books. As I was telling a friend last night, I'm a little amazed my mother didn't put a bullet through my head before I reached the age of 12 or 13. She took it in stride. And she laughed and laughed when my own son went through his mouthy phases.
I stood out in stark relief from my older sister by six years and my younger one by two, both of whom were well-behaved, docile little angels.
well, middle childs do tend to be alot more hostile and outgoing (some tend to strive harder at making themselves better, but for the most part it's the other way around) it's only natural to crave that attention when you're hte middle child... as you're not the oldest and mommy/daddy's grown up baby, nor are you their little baby...
How old is your son? Do you have any other children? Sorry, still a noob:DQuote:

<.< there's always me :p
That's right! I have a number of kids here whom I love and adore. Truly. And then there's Slip, whom I wish I'd been able to adopt and really raise. I also have special maternal feelings for Orangeman and Billionfold and also for Baby Face Abortion and Reb. All these folks have parents/mamas of their own. But I still love them like they're my own.
My own natural-born son just turned 21 and is about to start his senior year in college. We're past the rocky phases now, fortunately, and there were mercifully few of those. Tonight's his last night at home before he returns to North Carolina for the fall semester.
Up until 6th grade I was actually very good. Very shy. Very afraid my dad would beat me if I fucked up, so pretty obedient. After that I kind of got mad and my whole goal in life was to get over on my dad, and get away with what ever I could. Nothing too serious. Even when I was misbehaving, I was always acutely aware of any consequences. Just smoking or cutting class. I got in trouble a lot, all the way until I moved out at 18.A lot of flushed pot and broken cigarettes. It got pretty dramatic at times. I was the 4th out of 5 kids. Very busy, noisy, chaotic house. Today I can't stand noise and chaos.
I was a hell-raiser.
Now I'm insanely boring, and mellow. Go figure.

Snowblind, would you please do us the courtesy of reposting your thread but without use of the C-word this time? It'll live a longer life-span that way, and you'll be able to get your message across just as well, I'm sure. Thanks.
Oh wow...about my age. That's awesome. I bet he thinks you're the coolest mom ever!:D
As they say in Brooklyn: Fuhgedaboudit!
We were wild, but probably not as bad as the worst kids then or today. We made go-carts out of wooden boxes, rope and old wheels. We played stickball in the streets, punchball, ringaleveo, and many other games. There were bad things though, some of which I wrote about recently (posts below). By the time I was in my teens, and having had jobs, I was considerably more adult. I would say that working odd jobs, like shoveling snow, bicycle deliveries, etc., as a kid didn't hurt me at all.
We didn't realize how rough we had it, compared to many people in this country, until later. Spoiled we were NOT.

He only thinks that when the answer is "yes." When it's "no," he thinks his father and/or I are the devil incarnate! He won't appreciate those "no's" till he's much older.Quote:

I'd be interested to see if you are willing to share it privately! I'm curious!
Me growing up young teenage years I was a straight up church girl. When I hit 17 when my depression got really bad was when I started drinking and my depression made me a bad person. I'll always have a good heart but like any other person I like to break some of the rules.
Same with me. I was a charming little devil who always caught a break. Easy teachers, principals, circumstances, parents, etc. I basically skated free anytime I disrupted the peace. To this day I like to think that I was just a clever, rebellious child who used obnoxious, disruptive behavior to get my way and get out of class. That played out real quick though and now I live the repercussions on a daily basis. I could lament my past behaviors and ultimately come to regret it, but I know that's not who I am now. I have changed and I can look back on the past and give thanks for the lessons it has given me for the prosperous future.Quote:

i had a problem with authority. not a problem like i wouldnt do what i was told, but i just basically did what i wanted to. this is many oncerning school, when i was in elementary school if i felt like getting up to get a drink of water i did. and not in a rebelious type way, just a im thirsty so im going to get a drink. and later in high school it ballooned into, i don't feel like being here so im going to leave. i was never loud or difficult about it, i was usually quiet and in the backround , but all my teachers new that i was going to do what i wanted to.
i was pretty good at home though. never gave my parnets too hard of a time. at least not anymore than the average kid.
a problem with authoirty..... o.0 you kinda went the other with that wouldn't you agree? :DQuote:

Don't remember. It was the late 60's early 70's. I made it out alive though.
I pissed on some other kid's face when I was about ten while his mom was inside with visiting my mother. Something about him just pissed me off, no idea what. I think I was supposed to be "playing" with him or something. This is just one incident, probably the worst
one, I'll have to think about it to be sure.
My poor mother still irrationally blames herself I'm sure, like not buying me enough Atari games could make me do *that*. I was just nuts. I did lots of things, don't have time to name them all, although I'd love to ramble on I guess I'll save some rambling for later.
Edit: Damn, I never strangled a retard, what the fuck is wrong with you?

Guys, I'm not sure what it is about this thread, but I just deleted a second post that used an instance of the C-word, a derogatory term regarding women. Please avoid the use of that word at all costs. SmokingSkeleton, you'll need to repost your thread without that word if you want it to remain visible above. Certainly descriptions of yourselves as children do not require terms such as that.
i was a little devil, but i did have my good days.

You're my sister, Toots! Aw, heck, i should have worded that differently. Seriously, I also love and adore my contemporaries here, too, and you're one of them. But you're not young enough to be my kid like my "kids" are!Quote:
