Hello all, my first attempt at a grow ended disastorously when my GF knocked over my pot and broke the stems, so this time I'm taking alitte more care and placed my grow in a closet. Other wise its fairly simple, its 3 weeks from the seed and I started w. nutriants last week and also upgraded from a shitty 75w. floro to 2 100w/24w CFL's 6500k. Planning on transplanting in 2 weeks, may do it sooner.
So you started giving nutes on week 2? My plants are at 2 weeks today and I was wanting to give them nutes, but was told that they might not be ready for nutes this early. here is my grow log if you care to look.

I just transplanted today so I will wait till they are not stressed from the transplant.
Your plants look very healthy and seem to be doing good. Are you going to add more light as they get bigger? I bet they would really like a transplant right now, I bet those roots are all circling the outside of the soil check em out. Good luck with your grow Bro.

First of all thanx for all the cool comments guys, growing is such a good feeling. I just finished transplanting into 17 quart containers, and for all 6 plants took about 140lbs of soil. I upgraded to 6 24w/100w CFLs 6500K so basically one per plant. I bought 30 cents of yarn from walmart and am using it as guy wires to keep my lights in line. Some of my older leaves are slighty curling so I started spraying them as they felt really dry. I am kinda worried about watering because, I know it should take more than when they were in the 16 oz. dixie cups but I don't know how much.

Heres my first attempt at lst'ing, just 2 of the six plants so far, I waiting for the others to get a little taller, the are staying low and growing out. Lots of new growth showing up on the lower nodes.... Oah yeah and a pic of my guard dog!
Like your pup there. If you pull your cfls back a few inches your plants will start stretching alittle ad you can lst them easier. As short as they are now you're going to have a hard time there.
Thanks for the advice Weedhound, I think I will pull the CFL's back a few inches so I can add a little height to the plants. I was so worried about over streching them before , and when I transplanted them I burried the stems right up the first nodes.Quote:

BTW the last picture is by far my most sickly plant, its leaves are curled up and one the fans have split and kept growing as can be seen in the pic

Been awhile since I put something up here. I had a neighbor get raided a couple houses down, and I got a little paranoid. Seeing the cops go flying down my street had me like wtf. Anyways I'm down to 3 plants (murdered the males by the end on the first week of flowering.) They seem to be okay, now I'm using 3 42w 2700k CFL and 3 24w 6500k CFL's togather, as soon as I can get more doe I'll switch over to all 2700k bulbs.
Here we are at week 3 of flower. Plants seem to be doing okay, I added 3 more 150w CFL 's @ 2700k I'm thinking that I'm done with lights this grow. Trichrome production is coming along and I'm just wanting the buds to grow.:thumbsup:

Excellent looking rhinos there dude! You should start to see the weight pile on sometime after day 40, they really start to put on the weight and trichs in the last few weeks. I hope you score a nice indica pheno, they are covered in crystals!!!
Thx dude, I went over to look at your grow log on the other site, its pretty sweet, I think for next grow I'll upgrade to a 400 or 600w hps.
looks like some killer plants/buds bro.
looking very nice. even the sickly plant doesn't look all that sickly. a few times i had a plant in a batch that wouldnt grow for the longest time, then would take off and be bigger than the rest in no time at all. good luck.

I hope to end up with buds like in your avatar one day hydro:stoned: Yeah since the plants are all have the same enviromental variables, I gotta think that the sickly one comes from an unstable pheno, I got the seeds from Nirvana and I've heard that while the germ rates are good you can run into some inconsitancy later during a grow.

I don't know what I'm going to get at this point, Between weeks 6 and 7 is where I've seen most plants pack on most of the weight. I'm hoping for .5 oz per plant, but we'll see. I've spent $100 total on the grow, so what ever I get back will be worth it + I learned a valuable lesson in that white rhino really likes to be tied down. The plant I LST'd is has the most colas with the biggest buds so far.Quote:

Looks great! I chopped mine @ 55 days and it was superb smoke, but I wish it would have gone @ least 60 days. I'd recommend going that long, they really pour on the resin/weight in those last days. I regret choppin early =(

And yes, it is hard, but just fantasize until the time is near. Just think about how sticky, how white, how fresh, how smelly, and how MUCH that bud will be once the 60th day comes.

Thanks for stopping by. I didn't take any clones this time, I just wanted to get a grow to completion under my belt, will probably take some clippings from the next grow. The average temps range from 72 at night to 77 during the day. some of the calyx's are turning brown but I'm assuming thats its natural as its happening at upper and lower budsites and I'm halfway through week 6 of the grow. I'll post some more pics in a moment.Quote:

Nice bro.... Looks like you scored a few indica phenos, those are the best ones for that strain.
what nutes are you using?
For flowering I used Foxfarm Tigerbloom. Whiterhino seemed to be a plant that really liked alot of nutrients as I fed it heavily and did not end up with any nute burn. For vegging I used FoxFarm GrowBig. They both worked out well for me. I've flushed my plants at this point and its all fresh water for them for now on till they get the chop. One of them is comeing down this sunday, the other two in a couple of weeks, I'll post more pics soon.:jointsmile:Quote:
