When your lighting switches to 12/12....
From a seedling, you could probably flower after a month, but two months would be better for maturity's sake(i think). It's a size factor really. If you have the room for it, grow it for 2, 3, or more months. Just realize that plant's going to GROW during flowering. The girls I have right now do double to triple in size during flowering.
like 2 weeks into the flowering light schedule [after you change the light timer to 12 hours on and 12 hours off] if you're indoors, and outdoors it can vary depending on where you are.
Whoops. Lots of people start flowering after a month of vegging, but if you have the space you can do it longer. Outdoors it depends on where you are. And if you are growing a ruderalis cross such as lowryder, it flowers on its own and there is no veg.Quote:

I am definitely no expert, but I just finished my first successful indoor grow. I vegged my plants for about two months, and personally I would advise not going much farther than this for indoors. The plants were really big (much bigger than I anticipated after growing during flowering) and the light penetration just wasnt powerful enough to reach down into the plant (could only use a 400 watt hps bulb). Technically, before you switch the lights to 12 hours of COMPLETE darkness,;-p-;0p9uiojk (that was a comment from my dog stepping on the keyboard, I guess he wanted to add something, he does take care of my plants when im not home ha),. you are supposed to wait until the plant shows alternating nodes - that is, the branches begin to grow in an alternating pattern like this y, rather than growing in pairs like this Y.Quote:

As its already been said, just bare in mind in flower the double to tripple in size. So have them a third to half the size you want them to finish at.
You can start flowering whenever you want really, i've seen threads were people have started flowering after just a few weeks.
Tell yer dog he spelled ;-p-;0p9uiojk wrong. :DQuote:

lmfao, no it can be noob or knob. Knob is proper. noob :p
This is the correct way. If forced into flowering before the plants are ready you have a greater risk of plants turning hermi, or being males.Quote:

you can veg for 1 week, 1 month, one year, or 1 decade (anyone got any pictures of this one?)
At least one month is best, but it depends on how much room you have, how much yeild you want, etc.
oh yeah, some people don't veg.
they go from cloner to bloom.
