i'v just turned 18 and as a little joke my sis gave me a grinder and a load of skins =). the skins were "grassleaf transparent green and blue" there shiny and look like ultra thin plasticy celofane or something, but they arn't folded like normal skins and they have no gum. just curious so i dont waste them or something, how do u roll with them, like how do they stick like normal skins?
Thats weird that there is no gum...i'd imagine just licking the end will work fine. Just lick till it sticks.

transparent papers are made from different stuff, so they dont need gum. th ematerial sticks to itself when wet. just lick it good. lick it real good.
I just bought some cello skins today. I had trouble rolling with them, the cello is very slippery and the texture just doesn't "feel right" and it doesn't seem to grip the leaf the same way. I also felt as though it wouldn't make a perfect seal (It was wrinkled a bit though). Of course, they didn't have any 1 1/4 so I had to get "King Size" which is freaking four inches long and that gave me some trouble rolling. Oh yeah, and if you roll an inside-out cone like I do, I found the licking and sealing and tearing the excess pretty difficult also. Bottom line, maybe you should cut them to fit your machine. Oooh, I should try that now!!!
Update. The machine made a beautiful stick. I still haven't tried smoking any of these though.
Oh, and I have trouble telling if I have two skins stuck together. At >$5 for a pack of forty, you don't wanna freakin' waste them.
I have watermelon invisibles right now. theyre 1 1/4 and theyre niice. For invisible papes.
Okay I smoked one, and the taste... welll..... I could taste like... ummm... burnt doggie doo on my tongue... and the cello shrinks at the end, and leaves a black film on the ash... and it burns reeeaaal slow. I did not like it. I will probably smoke the few I rolled, and put some magical herbs just once when I'm already high just to enjoy the novelty of seeing the bud inside the cig but..... ugh.. :P Of course I guess the flavors cover over the taste of burnt dog crap.
dude those papers are the bomb they sick good so just lick a little and they fold in on them selves eisliy so watch out but the best thing is they dont punture and you can reroll with em if you screw up just a littel fix is all that is needed
Yeah, they do stick good and curl up magically and they're tough as fudge... but still for pretty experience hand rollers with good broken up herbs w/o stems you can use the sheerest papes and tear off the excess (FREAKING HARD TO DO WITH INVISIBLES) and have no taste but the herbs... mmmm... no paper taste... experienced rollers know what I'm sayin'?
but the clears have no taste to begin with and plugs work realy good with the clears, I dont roll with aything eles now except the occational blunt but thats just cause Im smokin shwag lately
the clear papers are sweet... once i convinced my friend connor that there WERE NO PAPERS.
we were pretty high, obviously, but it was pretty cool. then he was like wait... yes there are dude! what are you talking about??? it was awesome.
What are plugs? And as for taste, I haven't rolled anything but tobacco in them, but I tested side by side paper trip invisible king size versus the skins that come with Bali Shag and even from the first puff the paper trip taste vaguely like burnt doggie doo in addition to the regular taste of my cigs. It's no joke, and I didn't expect it to be that way or I wouldn't have paid $5 for the darn things.
I really prefer the clear papers.. I don't know about your specific brand but my friend had some and they surprisingly were much easier to roll. The smoke is also cleaner than paper, and less harsh. Oh and it burns slower :D
They do burn slower. Do you notice though, that at the burning end the paper shrinks and causes the draw to be tight? They are easy to roll though, unless you like the inside-out method, which I do, and I haven't managed to pull it off right with the transparent skins. I'll try one right now.
