So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
I wanted to get a nice thread going showing some pictures of my plants!
This is what I'm running right now, and I'll try to explain each one as best as possible:
-Strain origin
-Line origin
-Type
-High type
-Flavor
-Form
-Cultural notes
Be nice- I am really short on space, I've got about 25 different lines going, and we have been in a 90+ heat wave for 2 weeks and no amount of a/c is helping! Everyone looks a little sad and droopy atm.

So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
Afghani Dream
Strain origin: Unknown, maybe someone can fill me in?
Line origin: Western MA cut, been around a while
Type: Indica
High type: Relaxed but alert
Flavor: Classic, on the sweet side of hashy
Form: Perky for an indica. Holds fans upwards at an angle. Unusually elegant. Buds are of very uniform shape.
Cultural notes: One of my all time favorites to grow. She's tough and passes that trait down to her offspring. She takes well to being grown as a multiple-top plant, and the set of the fans still lets light penetrate through the canopy. The cut I have now is not the same one that I have been using in my breeding; I lost that one a while ago. But this cut is about to be used in a BX generation of the Foxy lines.

So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
Alaskan Matanuska Valley Thunderfuck, Yeag line- Thank you sweetie, love ya big guy!
Strain origin: Alaskan IBL, ~30 years old. Bred down from NorCal bagseed back in da day.
Line origin: Kenai Peninsula
Type: Hardy indica, said to contain some sativa in her heritage.
High type: Creeper, very stony, lasts FOREVER, lol
Flavor: Dark and complex. Smells spicier than she tastes.
Form: Insanely tight internodes. Squat. Broad leaf blades, fans can get HUGE. Shows distinctive red petioles even under optimal growing conditions. Bud set is good at every node. Buds grow tall and slender, but still very dense.
Cultural notes: Easy to grow, but thirsty for her size because of her unusual leafiness. Roots fast but still a bitch to take cuts from because of her form. MUST be artificially stretched if you want internodes longer than a cm!! I suspect because of the bud form, she's mold-resistant without sacrificing density. I have not tested this yet though and don't plan to, lol. It's a good idea to clean up low growth in early flower to make trimming less of a chore.

So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
Pure Power Plant
Strain origin: South African sativas inbred since 1997. Original breeder I'm not sure of.
Line origin: This version comes from Nirvana Standard.
Type: Mostly sativa... doesn't act like it though!!
High type: Pleasant, cheerful, stronger than you expect for how smooth she cures up.
Flavor: Dank perfume, that doesn't come out until after a long cure.
Form: Looks like an indica, wtf!
Cultural notes: Another plant that loves pruning, although it was originally intended to be an ideal SOG variety. It sets beastly fat colas on VERY stiff stems. Training is virtually impossible unless you catch new shoots AS they form and run them out. I have to harvest mine for clones every other week JUST to keep her from getting too tangly and dense. I have never run her SOG, but a very respected grower friend used to personally swear by her for consistent production. People are still surprised when they smoke it and say, ??no way. THAT'S Power Plant??. Properly cured PPP is great stuff, but you'll never see it unless you do it yourself. A final note is her bag appeal. Closely set and numerous stalked trichs give her a furry look. PPP is suggested for neurological painkilling properties.

So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
White Rhino x Yeag's MTF (Foxy's Rhinofuck in progress)
Strain origin: Nirvana White Rhino female x The Yeag's MTF male by Foxy Seeds
Line origin: Foxy Seeds
Type: About 2/3 indica
High type: untested but both parents have balanced effects with painkilling properties.
Flavor: Smells spicy-sweet so far
Form: Takes after its MTF parent. Tight internodes. Cola is freaking HUGE though by comparison.
Cultural notes: This beast is just begging to be grown SOG. I expect yields to be outrageous. In just a 1 gallon pot, a plant flowered at 10? will already have a beer bottle sized cola with weeks to go before finish. Foliage is minimal. Trimming is going to be a snap.

So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
Toxic Lemon
Strain origin: 50% Killer Queen hybrid by RushMan Seeds
Line origin: Rushman
Type: Mixed
High type: VERY alert
Flavor: I can't taste the lemon specifically but it's super super spicy with citrus tones.
Form: Big Ol' Bush
Cultural notes: I am dying to try running this girl outdoors. She finishes in 8-9 weeks but our growing season is sure getting longer... thanks to global climate change... errrr. Structurally she reminds me a little of Sweet Tooth. In fact, working those 2 lines together would be a rewarding breeding project IMO. This is a VERY vigorous hybrid and I would recommend it even to nOObs.
-
So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
Hindu Kush
Strain origin: A classic Kush from India
Line origin: Nirvana Standard
Type: Pure, classic, stable indica
High type: Relaxation
Flavor: Classic sweet hash
Form: Classic indica stoutness
Cultural notes: Easy to grow, good yield, good flavor, good high, good form, what more can you ask for?

So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
And that's where my %#&! camera battery died- isn't it nice that I shelled out for the memory card on the thing, but the battery is only good for about 15 pictures? WTF! Cheap walmart crap.
More pics next week. Enjoy!

Pretty Sis.
The MTF x W/R has def. caught my intrest . The perfect plant for any high-on .
Huge buds , and hardly any trimming - Im so lazy . :)
Peace
Crispi
-
So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
lol crispi it's going to be an easy trim but it looks naked partly because in this heat wave a lot of the fans dropped from my flowering plants.
-
So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
where can i find the toxic lemon??????
-
So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
The breeder, RushMan, is a bit on the DL but is VERY reliable with both producing solid plants and getting seeds where they need to go. sonseeds yahoo is the way to reach him for his inventory and price list. I am quite impressed with his work.
-
So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
Stinky those are absolutely gorgeous. Honestly I cannot even find the right word.....I'll chew on that. :wtf:
I absolutely LOVE all your differentselections.:thumbsup: You can really see the love in your work and breeding. Very, VERY, impressive.
You ARE getting a new battery soon right? I haven't counted 21 and I WANT TO SEE THEM ALL.
PS...Breathtaking?.....nope....needs more.....;)
-
So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
Aww you are too nice. The plants are not what they should be. They are almost all showing signs of heat and drought stress!

What am I, like a slave to canncom? DAG, yo.

So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
That MTF x White Rhino has my mouth watering. Dang very nice!
-
So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
lol you all love that mtf x wr! I'm happy! It is SO simple to make a nice vigorous F1 hybrid if you have a pair of parents you like! That's why if you have 2 rooms, one dedicated to vegging, I think it's a GREAT idea to keep the best male from each seed pack you get. If you get a BETTER male later, replace him. But when you find that sexy stud, introduce him to one of your ladies... watch the sparks fly!

Im in envy that you have a true MTF, gosh lucky lol
-
So THAT'S what stinks up in the attic!
True? Well there's a AMVTF thread in strains and seeds that talks about the legitimacy of any MTF claims. Mine was a gift from a dear friend who lives on the Kenai. The old hippie strains up there are all related and are good enough to deserve recognition- IMHO, the designation MTF has really (if not necessarily accurately) come to be applied to a CLASS of Alaskan lines descended from the 'real' MTF or related stock.

For digital camera use the Energizer e2 lithiums
my camera needs 2 and they last for like 2-3 months.
like $11 for 4

When picking a male what are the attributes to look for in order to determine the best out of the bunch?!

I don't mean to brag but I won a few Blue ribbons in my day. It may have been the chissled linebacker physique or the genius i.q. or my larger than average....oh you mean picking a male plant...shit idk! ask stinky.
