I support movie piracy but not music piracy. Actors get paid whether or not people pay for their movies or not, musicians don't. And the people that make movies are usually scumbags anyway that don't deserve the money they get, so I never pay for movies I watch, unless it's something good worth seeing in theaters, in which case I'll get in for free because I work at a movie theater on the side for fun.
Got the new Korn cd coming out?
I think the arts should be free to inspire more I watch moves on computer and listen to free music if I like it I go to the theater or buy the CD but if I dont i dontQuote:

The way I see it, there's many artists I'd never bother to listen to if I didn't d/l their album for free. Many of them I end up seeing live, so they make their money regardless.Quote:

very true also if a band does not sound like they do live I usualy throw the CD away weather I paid for it or burntit, I hate studio bullshit it is sopposed to be art as in a performace...........but all those who dont do live and are dope on CD are fine their still artist but the artist who uses the studio to make somethin that isnt true well thats garbage (not the band their kool)-----------My opinion as a musicianQuote:

While a band may not get much money from the label itself as far as putting food on the table goes (we all know that comes from touring, as you said), the record company is often the one that funds their studio time.
