First Time - Bad & Bizzare ?

Just a few days ago I tried pot for the first time.
With my friends i had a few tokes from a blunt and a big one with a bong, i coughed like crazy after my last hit, felt like there was a bubble in my throat (choking). After i sat down and watched tv , feeling a little sick from the coughing and suddenly i got hot...not gradually but extremely hot really fast! i started freaking out and i told my friend and he told me to calm down, my skin started to sting me all over i was sooo hot, when i moved i felt a burst of heat in my chest, i couldnt even talk much because i was scared.
Skin pulsing and hot i tried to rest, but the whole time i heard noises and imagining that i saw things, even though i was at my friends house it looked like i was at home. I had trouble breathing, felt like i could only concentrate on one thing and if it wasnt breathing i was scared i would forget to do it!
The whole experience was a mix of pain, hotness, and paranoia.
Could someone explain or give a reason why i felt this way :(

I was completly fine until the heat, then the pain...after it was a mix of anxiety and paranoia. I felt better walking home.

You gotta smoke where you feel completely cool, not nervous or paranoid while you smoke.

Your probably right, to calm myself down for a few seconds i sat in a room with alot of plants and 2 cats and i felt really nice there

yeah for me, i did it by myself...that could be bad or good i don't know, set it up in a time where you know your parents wont be home. (if you live with your parents) and set up something to pass the time like a movie or some music or something else.

well the way i see it is you have to build up a bit of a tolerance...i personally like having a tolerance to bud because i can smoke as much as i want and never feel like that, but i remember the first couple times i blazed it i felt like that too. The more you smoke, the better it gets.

For me, I think I was really lucky. The first time I ever smoked, I smoked a couple of bowls with a my ex and her friend, and it was amazing. I mean, I coughed like I never had before, but I got high as shit, and felt nothing but good.

It varies pretty greatly person to person. If I were you, I would give it another shot when you're feeling good, and are at home. Try taking it slow next time. Take a couple of hits off a pipe or j, and let it set in. It is really easy to smoke way too much if you do it all at once.
But yeah, man. I know a couple of people that don't smoke weed cause' they get crazy paranoid, or just feel bad. Hell, I know a chick that gets really violent when she smokes.

My point is, don't get set on expectations, take it easy, and have a good time :)

My first experience was almost exactly like yours except I was super-cold. I was freaking out because I was afraid the cops would catch us (we were in a car). But when we got back to the dorms, it was the best high i've ever had! I think you were just in a bad location or were worried about something!

You were just buggin out. It happens... You probably took a bong rip of some decent weed and got jacked up. Its better to sort of ease into Weed or any drug. The first time I smoked, it was a cigarette size joint with 4 friends. I got a nice high, but not smashed. You do need to be in good company, with people you trust and a familiar setting. It makes for a much more enjoyable high.

Yeah that's what I did. I took a bong rip off a 2 footer, really really good weed. I didn't feel anything after coughing for 5 minutes, then I took another and another. I was so fucking high that I couldn't feel my body, I didn't even notice I was high because my body slowly turned into a weird numb that was so strong. We were driving around and time didn't move at all. It seriously felt like 30 minutes what was 5 minutes, and there was a cop sitting at the other side of a really big street (we were in gas station) and I head voices yelling and I thought it was the cop so I got out of the car with 1 other kid and walked around and back to his house...I was kinda scared, but not really, and my throat hurt kinda bad.

Zoozoo i think you just did too much too fast. Start with a little and work your way up. Remember you can always smoke more to get more high but you can't get less high once you've smoked a lot... or something.

I think i'm lucky in that i took to smoking like a duck to water. My first time was with my best friends who were more experienced and the setting was really cool and chilled out. I'd never realised chocolate biscuits could taste so good, and the Mario Cart... MY GOD THE MARIO CART WAS AWESOME!

Definitely one of the times in the past i'm going to visit when i get my time machine.

My first time was right before school with one of my good friends and it was some decent weed. we smoked two bowls and I was really high. It wasent a good idea to ride the bus. i felt like everyone knew that i was high and that everyone was staring at me and i dident want to smoke again. but later when i got home and i talked to my friend he said it was normal to fell really weird my first time and we smoked a couple bowls at my house when my parents werent there and it was my best high i have ever had. just play some video games and watch tv. dont think about your breathing, you wont stop. you breath while you are sleeping and it wont change just because u are high:):rastasmoke:
