I think alot of animal rights activists are there to show support for animals and alot are there to exploit the dude and take the chance to show their racial hatred. I don't know enough and it hasn't made such a big deal here
if the allegations are true i dont care about his celebrity, his ass better be in the slammer
not a big animal rights activist but what he was doing was messed up
I agree if he is found guilty then yes he should be punished but I dont know about all that him burning in hell thing.Quote:

Well,
There are more humane ways they could have treated those animals. The thought of electrocuting a dog because he loses you money or hanging the animal is very ugly. They had access to drugs that vets use that would have taken a lot of the sting out of how they conducted the business.
If the charges are true against Vick and the others. There should be jail time involved regardless of how fast one of them can run. Race not being the issue in regards to cruelty.
Loco
The Falcons have already disenchanted his celebrity in a one hour press conference held earlier this week. Without the support of his team, I believe he'll be convicted and possibly sentenced to a short term to be served in a cushy cell. And that's the worst that will happen. If that doesn't happen, then you can bet the NFL commissioner pulled a few strings to maintain the righteous image of the organization.
I think he's a damn i'git (Southern for idiot) for fucking up what was a sweet deal in life. Rich, famous, and apparently stupid (and cruel), when will these guys learn?
Why does everything have to become a race issue?
This is pure an simple a case of a cold-hearted bastard who was not content with his already pretty damn exciting lifestyle.
They come in all colors.
And yes, Vick, if convicted, should face jail time and plenty of it.
Because that's all they have coming up to bat with. Realistically, jail time....in my dreams people like that should simply be wiped off the face of the earth. That is the the kind of human being that I'd be the first one with a big sign saying "Castrate Mike Vick" (and company) and assisting in surgery.....without anesthetic.Quote:

Not to sound racist, god forbid, but as I drive around here in Atlanta, if i see a black person and they're wearing an NFL jersey, its a Vick jersey. WTF? Even though he MAY be innocent of not actually participating in the dog fights, he did allow it on his property! Hes still scum. People say the prosecutors etc. are racist and are just trying to bring down a rich black man....OK that has to be the most ignorant thing ever. Arthur Blank (a whitey) owns the falcons and vick (lol, no slave jokes please), and most of the NFL and sports is run by rich white guys, why would they want their investments arrested and put on trial for such heinous crimes? The fact that some people constantly pull the race card, they're just furthering stereotypes and only distancing themselves from everyone else. Until you can just say someone is arrested because of the crime they commited and not the color of their skin, you in fact are the cause of the disease. White, Black, Italian, Vulcan....a bastard is a bastard.
After reading that story, it seems to me that the racial tensions were a little thicker in the report than they probably actually were. The fact that there were people shouting racial slurs isn't really surprising, a lot of people are shallow and ignorant, but I seriously doubt that the few people shouting the slurs are indicative of the views of the large group of people. But we all know that the media is more interested in sensational stories than accurate reporting. Just like anyone else, Michael Vick should be punished if he is found guilty, and the mass media saturation that has followed this case could really hurt Vick's chance of recieving a fair trial. I find it hard to believe that Vick had no idea that dog fights were being held at his property, and I hope that if he is found guilty that the fact that he's a celebrity won't sway the decision at sentencing. If in fact he is guilty, he deserves to be punished the same as anybody else.
just because dog fighting is mostly a black thing doesn't make it right. snapping and shooting up an office/school is mostly a white thing. Would any one get away with that? These extreme fanatic Muslims are mostly middle eastern. Would anyone get away with that? No. So why should Vick get away with this? Everyone is just afraid of everything that's less then six degrees remove from something that could be considered racist. He knew better. He broke the law and now he should have to pay the price for it. If any of us got caught doing it we would have to.
If anything gets him off it won't be the color of his skin, it'll be his celebrity status. It seems like celebrities think they're just invincible and they do these bad things because they know they can get away with it.
Don't get me wrong, if Paris Hilton wants to f*ck on camera and snort blow off a toilet seat all day I don't care. But when she gets a DUI on a suspended license It shouldn't take her accidentally killing some one while she's all f*cked up for her to get punished.
