I don't do hydro, but that usually means lack of nitrogen, which could be a PH lock out issue. A hydro grower will have to help you more.

Yea...whoa...wierd-looking. But those would be GREAT pictures for a NEW Plant problems list. Good example pics when u figure out what it is. I wouldn't think that would be nitrogen because it's not really uniform. I'm very curious as to what it is, though. Good luck.
Edit: My initial guess is a Zinc or Magnesium deficiency...I'll keep looking...
P.S. Thanks for the links, Dizzy. Never seen the 2nd one. Cool! Rep for that.

May I ask if you were checking the water before....you say you are now. And what is the 500 ppms of.....just curious......don't know about soil but am interested.
Have you check the runoff from watering? That may very well tell you if you need to flush or not.

LOL
See, it was the hut and the mentioning of PPM's, I don't see that too much when people talk about soil.
And that whole bong hit after work thing wasn't helping.
And I didn't eat lunch. Tired. Lack of sleep. I can keep going... :D

When in dout flush them out.6.4 or 6.5 is fine for soil. The soil act as a buffer so the ppms are a little low.Whats the run off PH at?What nutr are you feeding them?Flush them out and when dry feed them alittle stronger nutrs. Not alot more just a little more. They look like mind did till KP told me I wasnt feeding them enough nutrs. What kind of nutrs are you feeding them now?

You want your soil pH right around 6.7.
I think N is locked out by low pH. I've seen this before, in peat mix, pH=very low.
What I am seeing is a sudden nitrogen deficiency- new growht only- which means that yes, something has changed, and I'd look to your new tap water as the culprit. I think you are locked out. Make sure the fertilizer/water solution you are using is between 6.5 and 6.8, do a foliar feed with a micronutrient solution with a drop of superthrive added to start correcting that def right away, and flush your soil really well- then check runoff pH, adjust if necessary, and feed with a dilute complete fert.

well i flush the plants last nigth. such a pain in the ass to do . i hope i don't have to do it again . i was actually thinking that it migth be cause am not feeding enuff nuts? after flushing .a friend toll me to add a gallon to each plant of water thats reads 6.5 ph mixed o table spoon of fox farm orgaanic big bloom fert.. it supost to help with salt build up.. beffore i put each gallon to them i read the ppm in the gallon of water and it read 344 ppm. is that ok for foot high plants or should it be higher? any more advise i feed fox farm grow big veg food 6-4-4 and a little of big bloom 0.001-0.3-0.7

Flush with plain tap water at pH 6.7 FIRST, then flush with a gallon of VERY WEAK veg fert (1/4 what the bottle says). You may foliar feed with a veg fert at normal strength to help your plants green up again.

No, they are totally saveable.
Foliar feed ASAP.
Quite often, repotting into good soil will fix problems. Agway composted cow manure with humus... you should SEE the plants I brought back from near DEAD with a combination of that stuff, a bigger pot, and a nice flush. I got them from a friend very rootbound and showing those weird bright green leaves you are seeing, but SOOO much worse, and crinkly, and scorched to boot. They're fine now. You'll be fine too.

yo i am fixing the problem. anyways i transplanted today to new soil did a new feeding schelude and foliar feed they should be ok soon . i figure it was the soil that had no nutes in it...and fuck fox farm product am going to organic products now..thank you all for helping specially stinky attic and weed bound..will keep posted with pic's soon o and this is big bud the strain...

PLease some one help me.. i never ran into this problem??
possible nitrogen deficiency
also
possible IRON deficiency.....i'm looking through my book and the closest matching picture is for Iron deficiency
symptoms -- younger leaves and growing shoots turn pale green and progress to yellow between the veins starting at the petiole but the veins remain green. more and more leaves turn yellow and develop interveinal chords
to treat - lower ph to 6.5. avoid nutes that contain excessive amounts of manganese, zinc and copper. high levels of phosophorus compete w/iron uptake. improve the draining....excessive wet soil hold little oxygen preventing iron uptake. damaged or rotten roots also prevent iron uptake. apply chelated iron in liquid form to root zone. must be thorogouly mixed with growing medium. don't expose the nute solution to light.....leaves should green up in 4days approx.
hope this helps
