This is one of the fish the wife and I brought in last night. Caught a few more,But the Channel cat was our favorite. And of course our quality time together. As well as a few good nug's. The fish was 25 inches long. And the weight was 8 LB s.:thumbsup:
looks like you had a good fishing trip:thumbsup: how big do those catfish get ? in the u.k. they go upto 100lbs + and in france they get much bigger.
Oh they get huge. I have seen them up to 55 LBs. But HEARD OF THEM IN THE 100 LB Range. I just havent got one that big yet. Caught some Carp that weighed over 30 LBs tho. We dont eat carp tho, so we threw them back of course. And a few Bass not to big tho ABOUT 15 Inches long we threw them back as well. Had fun tho:thumbsup:
That fish is one ugly mofo. Sounds like an awesome time.
Good catch! Not the biggest I've ever seen, but like they say, catfish will get huge if ya let 'em. And there's almost no better food than fish freshly caught and thrown immediately (after cleaning of course) on the grill/in the fryer.

I guess i thought that Channel Cat would get more review's than it did. Maybee when I hook the Magambo it will get better results. The wife and I did have fun tho, That's what's Important.:thumbsup:

Chicken Livers, On a Number 4 Treble Hook, with a half ounce sinker. Work's Great. My wife taught me that a long time ago.:thumbsup:

you got a decent buzz so it's all good.went carp fishing yesterday caught 8, average weight 10LB biggest 14 1/2, a very plesant 4 hours of fishing.
this ones from texas and was 140 pounds!
Mine was not one bit tough, Excellent meat and tasted great. That one in Texas all I can say is FUCK!! NICE FISH. Carp I have a pic of one i caught not to long ago. about 22 lbs. Lot's of fun reeling him in.:thumbsup:

thanx phatty, got some whole mackeral bait in the hope of a big one 5LB+and some peeler crab and rag worm which i'll use on another rod for any bass that wants a snack.just bought an abu rocket multiplier a very fast reel sure to get a few birdnests whilst i'm getting use to it so i'm takeing a good supply of weed to keep me chilled.
Yep i know that deal. I hate the birdnesting, Especially in the dARK. Abu is very nice equiptment.:thumbsup:
