anybody ever witnessed a crime?

story-time...sorry, this is kinda long/rambly. man, what a fucked up weekend i had. friday night, i was chilling at my friend's house with 2 other guys on his front porch. we're all underage, btw, but we weren't drinking anything friday night (good thing, too...) we were just chilling. all of a sudden we hear this loud-ass car running real fast through his neighborhood, and we hear the sound of shattering glass. we're like...looking around at one another like, is this really happening?

the car drives past and throws a bottle at my friend's older brother's car (and missed, thankfully) and then drives off... so we walk into the street to get a look at what had just happened. we're standing there and we hear this dumbass circling around for a second run-through. we jump behind his bro's car to kinda hide, and my friend's already on the phone with 911, he's like "TAGS! GET THE TAGS!" (such a cool thinker under pressure :cool:). we hear this thud-sound, like he hit another car or something, and then he starts driving toward us real fast. i caught a pretty good look at the tag, and i was pretty damn sure about what i'd saw, or at least 5 of the 7 digits, and my friend noticed that color and make of the car, too.

we went down to the other end of the street to see what the thud was, and we see a fuckin' brick lying in the middle of the street. he had thrown a brick at the window (missed and hit the door) of the car parked on the street RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY BRAND NEW 2-WEEK-OLD car. we met some other guys up the street and they said one of their cars was bricked, too.

i was seriously pissed about this, it just as easily coulda been my car. and who the fuck get kicks out of throwing bricks at people's cars? seriously? there were police officers in-and-out of the neighborhood all night long and the resolution of the story is that the car was found, the 2 punks were arrested, they were obviously drunk, they were 16-year-olds(!), and they were gang members. the cops came by to take down our names and information, we might have to testify in court. :thumbsup:

i'd be glad to tell the judge exactly just what i saw, and i felt really good about having caught that tag number and helped out, yaknow. we ended up meeting with the neighbor whose car got hit the next night (her husband, it turns out, is a cop...these two 16-year-olds are FUCKED lol) and she was cool as hell and partied with us. i just hate to see bad things happening to good people, it turns out she had just bought that car THE SAME DAY off her parents. ugh.

anyway, anybody ever had any sort of experience like that?

I find it all pointless and stupid now....

but at the same time...I wont deny it gives you an adrenaline rush and its fun as hell when u dont care about what ur doing...

Seems really immature and pathetic that someones going round in car bricking other peoples car do you think you know who it is or could it just be a random person looking to cause trouble? Is this quite a regular thing there or something?

Ive 'witnessed' many crimes likes people getting the shit kicked out of them and been the victim of a crime before like we all have but never actually went to court as a witness

i used to do drive-by eggings.... get 3 dozen or so eggs a car and go out late at night...

when i was about 16 tho... i got tired of always being in trouble... so i stopped being a little deliquent...

closest thing to that's happened to me was me and these two girls were at the mall chilling on the dead side, and this suv pulls up with a bunch of KKK looking members, they start laughing hysterically say something retarded like "the mooon is cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!!" (couldn't quite make it out, but it was something literally retarded like that) and they proceed to throw eggs at us... but they suck at throwing.... one went a foot past my right shoulder, the rest basicly fell and busted at our feet...

then they peeled out and drove off... the three of us just start laughing and saying shit like... "wtf....???"

yep, I looked in my mirror and took a hit of my bong - what country would call that a crime!

seriously, I've seen some mates getting mugged, a carjacking, a store getting robbed

I saw someone beat a man half to death and I called the cops while he was doing it, I made a post about it ages ago. Well stupid old cops busted the guy that was beaten up.

the other night then these dudes in the car in front of us threw somethin' out the window, looked a roach maybe because it sparked on the ground and these cops like right next to 'em in the other lane gets behind 'em and puts their lights on...was scary 'cause I had a grinder, 'n pipe in my hands.

At my old place of work, an old lady about 75-80 years old was coming out of the store, and some dude ran up and tried to snatch her purse, but she held on and he yanked her on the ground. The dude even had an astrovan waiting for him, as soon as he failed the dude drove up, the dude jump in, and they drove off. Luckily, I was sitting out on a break smoking a cigarette, and saw the dude that did it, face, what he was wearing, even down to his shoes. He walked right past me and made eye contact with me. What an animalistic idiot.

Is animalistic even a real word? Cause it fits the description properly.

I was skateboarding in this undisclosed city, and we were skating this ledge and about maybe 200 feet away in an adjacent parking lot we hear alot of hootin and hollerin, we run around the ledge and look and i see two black dudes arguing over something, and one pushes the other onto the hood of the car they were by, the guy that got pushed on the hood immediately gets up opens up the now badly dented car's door, produces some sort of pistol (was small and loud, must have been like a bersa .380 or something) and shot the other guy twice and sped off. worst part was that the guy was running after he pulled the gun and he shot him in the back, but the guy that got shot actually was OK, i mean, of course he wasnt OK OK he got shot, but we saw him get up and hobble over to the liquor store across the street, but my friend alex calls 911 and tells them that there was a shooting involving a midnight blue caprice on gold rims (lol). of course we got the fuck out of there before the cops came because we like skateboarding and cops dont lol. i hope that was comprehensible.

besides that, ive seen kids get jumped but nothing on that scale. I read in the police blotters a week later that the guy actually got caught and was charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

Oh yeah and i saw someone hit a payphone with a sledgehammer and take the money LOL

1993: working at a convenient store in the north campus area of Ohio State in Columbus, OH. The area at the time was a mix of townies, college students (mostly grad), musician/artist types, younger people who failed out of OSU, etc.

Anyways, this older white trash dude (in his late-40s) lived in an apartment building next to the store and was always an asshole and tried to act like Charles Bronson to people walking in the alley running parallel to High Street.
The dude was clearly an alcoholic or had some mild, psychological issues.

One night he pissed off the wigga, mid-20 year old white trash crack dealer from the building across the street. This dude only came into the store for 40s, Chore Boy, and menthol smokes. I am sitting there behind the register and I notice something going on outside - about 15 feet from where I am. I see the white new jack hustler stabbing the old, vigilante about 10-15 times. Vanilla Ice then runs across the street and the older guy stumbles into the store, mumbling and bleeding all over the counter.

The dude had always given me a hard time and I pondered the reaches of karma for a millisecond. I called 911 and the cops and an ambulance arrived and took the bleeding Bronson to The Ohio State Medical Center.

The victim ended up surviving but later moved from the neighborhood. The cops knew who did the crime, when described by me and a few witnesses. I never did see the Bubba Sparxx looking rock dealer again, I am sure he was eventually apprehended. I ended up working door at the bar/music venue next door and getting my Bachelor's at Ohio State.

Once at a sports store at my local mall I watched two average looking people pull what I have always thought was an amazing crime. They went to a rack of sweatshirts where the shirts were folded up on shelves at several different levels. One of them grabbed one of the shirts and held it up as if he was examing it to see if it fits. This provided excellent coverage for the other guy to bend down and empty the shelves into a shopping bag he was carrying around. They put the shirt back down and walked out. Easily getting a few hundred dollars worth of apparel in less than one minute.

Also me and my friends used to go to a convience store and grab those big ass 44 ounce cups. Then instead of filling them with soda we would go down the candy isle and load up the cup. Throw a lid on top, and pay you 89 cents for the "drink" and walk out. Wrong i know but great for the munchies when you are shorthanded on cash.

Wow these stories are insane! Ive seen bar fights but thats it. But shit, the whole brick thing is insane. Im glad the asshole got caught. If it was near my car i'd motherfuck him in court too. What a douche.

the lady we chilled with said it's gonna be tough to prosecute 'em because they're minors and like 16-year-olds... that they might not even get anything more than a slap-on-the-wrist, that it's gonna depend on the county they live in and the prosecutor and stuff... i mean, i hope they get the book thrown at them, and i hope their licenses are suspended for a LONG time.

by the way, one of my friends saw an arm, yaknow throwing the bottle, and he said it was light-skinned, either white or hispanic.

I was in the driver seat of my car gettin ready to drive to work. Its still dark at like 5.30 AM. my car door is open, one foot in the car the other on the ground, no seat belt on yet , and a car slams into the back sending the car like 6 ft forward. the person behind the wheel, jumps out the car and takes off running all i see is hospital scrubs, and a bun on her head. my foot was broken, and hit my forhead on the wheel. so cops show up, emts and the whole nine, i tell what i saw. turns out the dumb bitch, ran to the bus stop a few blocks down, and was still waiting for a bus. they looked up the owner, and had her up on the computer. she was someone id worked with b4 a the hospital as my nurses aide. i got her fired and then i sued her ass

I've whitnessed too many crimes to even make a full list, let alone write em all out.

I'll make a list of some of the worst crimes i've seen first hand.



Kids walking around with a samurai sword.
A guy getting stabbed in the back with a screw driver on a bus.
A flat getting petrol bombed.
A guy getting pushed under a bus.
A guy getting his legs broken by bouncers with metal poles [scaffolding poles]
I've seen people getting mugged - but that's a common thing now.
I walked past a Jewlers whilst they were getting robbed at gun point, and i was the one who called the cops. No one else would. I had to give a statement - the jewlers locked em in so they couldnt run off.
I've seen people get knee caped, and i supose gang wars goes with this - just idiots shooting at each other for no real reason.
I've seen dirty smack heads shooting up on benches RIGHT next to a childrens park. THAT makes me sick. I had a good mind to go and kick them into a coma but for all i know they could have given me aids with they're dirty fucking needles.

I think the one that anoys me the most is the dirty skag heads right next to a childrens park. That's so dangerous it makes me burn with anger.

I too have seen way too many assaults, thefts, robberies (been robbed a few times), stabbings (I can show you the scar on my chest), purse snatchings, beatings ( had to get stitches more than a few times), shootings (been shot at myself twice), desperate dopers (saw one guy shoot up Drain-O in the park and die, and I've put a couple of purple people into a cold shower to revive them), and just plain fools.
The two that stand out for me are the rapes I stopped.
